Read moreThe overall experience was quite poor. I have been to this place multiple times over the years and this by far was the worst experience.
To start with, the food was quite average. Barring the starters, the rest of the items weren't the same as it used to be earlier.
The main pain point was Service. For the entire restaurant, there was only one lady (who tried her best) to take the orders and only one person to clean the tables. I wouldn't blame either of them because of this overload, but something the management needs to look into.
There was a political/other type of gathering in the adjacent hall (or the bar probably) and most the servicing went there making the restaurant have a backseat.
The most disappointing part was the Ice Ka Chang - the desert which I don't miss whenever I visit this place. Previously, it used to be a small piece of ice with a lot of flavours - one icecream, lot of fruits, tuti fruities etc. This time, it was a mountain of ice with strawberry jam/jelly spread here and there along with unlimited corn at the bottom and hardly any fruits. I am not sure how the chef expects someone to complete this irrespective of whether it's an adult / kid (attaching a pic of the same).
Overall, it was a bad experience and even though I was a fan of their food, I would think twice before visiting the place next...
Read moreWe started off with a chicken coconut milk soup. This arrived with the coconut milk curdled (see pic of a more clear tomyum kinda of soup with spotty coconut milk ) . We didn't complain and let it pass . Next was a starter of Chily Basil Chicken. Well presented , well flavoured . The bite into the piece was flavourful but soon turned yucky in the mouth as you got to the fleshy chicken. The taste of boiled chicken . No you don't take boiled chicken and coat it and fry it and flavour it. Its just a no no. We told the waiter who suggested we try crispy chicken. Decent dish but i noticed that the chicken was cut with a knife after frying to make some larger piece appear bite sized. The primary cut is important to consider. Somewhere along the chef was on the floor because of some led table light demonstration but would not make eye contact for a conversation. We ordered another fried chicken dish called Chicken Sanguine which was decent but for the burnt pepper corns. I visited this place because it was highly recommend , probably a bad day for the chef . The Chicken Cilantro...
