SRI ANNAPOORNA MESS(ANDHRA MESS) — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

first thing: this is not at all an Andhra mess. chicken biryani was Chennai style but not even below average.. yuck..tomato rice would be much better. no flavor nothing.. i expected an Andhra style or hyderabadi style briyani. disaster to the beginning..

meals: among the 8+ items came in the meals, except white rice none of the items were eatable.. either there is no taste or just too oily without any taste at all. even the kesari and butter milk(spoiled)were disgusting to taste..

please if the owner can watch these feedback, please make some changes. I can't even differentiate what is fish gravy, what is chicken gravy. and there is 2 varieties of sambar, maybe 1 is sambar other might be dal.. both were 🤮🤮. usually i don't waste food, but this time I felt too much to regret on wasting food..

These food must be definitely cooked by someone who doesn't have any taste buds or does not even care about the customers. even the dal powder doesn't have any salt or spice added to it.. just bland.

fyi:for an Andhra meals, just a normal white rice+ dal+ sambar+rasam+fries would be enough if given in good taste instead of...

Had fantastic lunch here. That first dhal powder with ghee tickles the tongue. Thick dhal sambar makes you crave for 2nd rice. Also they serve fish curry. And chicken gravy. Both are wonderful. After finish 3rd rice, you can taste rasam and buttermilk. Everything tastes adipoli.. 👍👌🙂 Unlimited rice makes your tummy full. Completely satisfied with just 100rs. Omlette extra 20rs. They have also fish , chicken 65 etc as side dish for extra price. Parking seems little rush.

Visited Sri Annapoorna mess. Typical Andhra mess with normal mess atmosphere. Two wheeler parking available. Car parking not available. No AC , don't expect very cosy seating. Service is good. Compared to other mess this is hygenic. Meals is good unlimited rice, papu, fries, curry, paruppu poddo, gongura, appalam, sambar, rasam, sweet. Curd is very good. We can order non veg like omlette, chicken curry. Chicken curry is oily , better to stay away. Meals and omlette are good. You can go with friends and family. Not suitable for...
