Worst service. Never expected this kind of service at this place. Person who is serving food doesn't know how to serve the food without spilling on the table, doesn't know how to keep the soup spoon on the table, she literally throwed the spoon and walked from that place. I was having starter, I had food in my mouth and on the plate, she questioned me whether to serve the main course or not and not bothered about my response, she started to serve the main course when the starter was still there on my plate and in my mouth. I had to literally use the sign language and asked her to stop serving main course. A big crowd came and occupied the other table. There were only 2 people around and they became busy there and we are left out. I understand we are not having food for free. Management has to teach their staffs on how to behave with your customers. Not even bothered to say thanks while leaving. I've been to many 5 star hotels and even to small restaurants. I can't even compare the service that i experienced today at this place with small restaurants.

I will give 5 stars for the food. Soup and starters...

If you choose to pay over ₹2500per person (excluding beverages) sharing essentially two starters (Sichuan pork, Xinjiang cumin lamb) and two mains (Yangzhou fried rice and Dan Dan noodles), it's not unusual to expect an above average dining experience and the chefs to conjure up something authentic, tasty and special. Instead, what we get with the newly launched menu at Stix is an unappetising bowl of unapologetic empty promises and a very misleading end-product. Almost everything we ordered was beset with fundamental flaws, cut of pork used was too dry, the lamb was very salty, the fried rice was deeply disappointing (no wok hay, breakfast bacon strips used instead of chinese pork ham) and the Dan Dan noodles (ultra bland, missing Sichuan peppers/mustard greens and the spicy soul of a good Dan Dan). Given how competitive the arena of Asian restaurants in Chennai is, Stix might want to shed its delusions of grandeur and not embarrass it's diners with such a subpar...

We went to this restaurant last night based on the review, it was a worst food with pathetic service, being to so many 5 star hotels, I have not seen such restaurant in Chennai. Most of the food items were tasting raw, drinks took forever to get. 1st drink came after 15 minutes, 2 drinks took more than 30 minutes but by that time we finished our dinner so had to cancel the drinks but they still charged us for the 2nd drink for one of us but they call it double on the first drink but they never asked for double. We had to literally call the waitress every time we needed something infact we had to call them via the chef as they are more accessible because of open kitcheb concept, I agree if the restaurant was full but there was hardly anyone because it was almost 11 pm. We ordered 4 dishes with 2 starters, 1 soup and 1 fried rice, not sure how the bill was over 7000. I would never go to this place nor...

Stix at the Hyatt Regency Chennai is where Asian cuisine meets a chill, laid-back vibe. The open central kitchen lets you watch all the action while soaking up those delicious smells—dining here feels like a mini show. Vegans got some solid options. The chili fried tofu appetizer is crispy, tender, and brings the heat just right. The mains lean into that familiar Indo-Chinese flavor, giving you a comforting food hug with each bite. Beer lovers might find the selection a bit tight with just four choices, but hey, they pair well with the dishes, so no complaints there. Service? Could use a bit more pep, but the staff are nice enough when they do pop by. Overall, Stix is a cool spot to hang out, savor some Asian flavors, and just enjoy a relaxed meal. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or just dropping by, it’s worth a shot.

Wonderful place to dine in. We went there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was so good. The Sichuan hot & sour soup was delicious. The chef had customised it as per our taste which was a wow factor. We had chicken spring roll & crystal prawn dimsum as starters. The dimsums were surreal in terms of taste & texture. The spring roll was good. For the main course, we had, Barbeque chicken egg fried rice & Shui zhu lamb. Both were so tasty. The lamb was tender & cooked to perfection. Finally we had cheesecake pastry for the birthday rituals. The surprising part was they didn't have a celebration cake. The price was too high. We spent 5k+ in above items. The ambience of the restaurant & hotel lobby is just average.
