Chaayos Cafe - Viviana Mall, Thane — Restaurant in Thane

Chaayos has come up with yet another beautiful outlet in Thane centered at Viviana mall. With its classic wooden interiors and comfortable seating options (Stools and Comfy chairs) one cannot miss to spot this place on the first level inside the mall. Although the place specializes in chai, what I liked more was the food that was served. Enough though the food menu is quite small, the taste is bound to leave an impression. Let's get down to the items that I tried

Shahi chai : Chai infused with custard flavour, the resultant being a thick and creamy shahi version of the beverage. Served in kulhad and bearing an amazing taste, this drink is worth trying.

Kulhad chai : A speciality of the place, this beverage consists of saffron masala chai served in kulhad.

Kulhad butter chicken kulcha : Ample amount of delectable chicken pieces in butter chicken gravy. Real yum stuff !!!

Spinach corn cheese : Quite simple as a dish and a good company for the chai. Trust me, you won't even realize that you are having spinach.

Palak patta crispies : The best dish of all. Palak fried and layered with imli chutney, jalapenos and sev. It was so nicely made that we tried it a second time. A must try if you are visiting the outlet.

This place is located at the first floor of the viviana mall. The view from this place is jjst amazing. This place is famous for its chai. We had a couple of things from here.

special wali chai - the special chai is just amazing. The chai jusy tasted amazing.

Thandi sauf wali chai - this sauf wali chai was also very good. Ut tasted like a nice ice tea.

Open loaded paneer paratha - this is like a pizza. The paneer paratha tasted very good.

Cheese chilli toast - the cheese chilli toast was amazing. Especially the bread was a multi grain bread.

Kasundi paneer sandwich - the kasundi paneer sandwich was very tasty with huge chunks of paneer in it.

Spinach corn cheese sandwich - this sandwich I really loved. It was very tasty. Especially it was healthy as it was a multi grain bread.

Mango fruit shake - This wasnt that good. It tasted like a mang syrup milkshake

Cake shake - this is a must try shake here. It tasted amazing with the taste of cake and was very heavy as well.

If you are a tea lover then this is a must visit place. Chaayos literally mean #experimentswithchai. I recently visited Chaayos, Thane. The staff was friendly and ambience was lit. I had ordered following:

1. Customised chai: The most unique thing over here is you can customise the tea. I took pani kam kadak chai with adrak elaichi and regular sugar. The tea was supercool.
2. Cold coffee: The slightly bitter cold coffee will surely lit up your mood. Sipping this coffee with the food ordered over here is best way to kill time.
3. Sicilian Chicken sandwich: The sandwich bread was soft and perfectly baked. Loaded with chicken chunks, it was delicious. The sandwich was tasty as well as fullfilling.
4. Bun kheema pav: Spicy minced mutton placed between soft bun was a pure delicacy I loved. Topped with onions and lemon juice sprinkled on it, this became my personal favorite.
5. Chilli cheese toast: Loaded with cheese, this was super delicious. Spiciness was perfect too. Overall a great snack while sipping tea. Overall a great place to hang out with your friends. The food quality is great and is a must...
