Read moreI recently visited Lords of Bar-B-Que to take advantage of their ongoing Independence Day offer, and I'm excited to share my experience. The restaurant boasts a barbecue theme, creating a unique atmosphere that's both inviting and dynamic. However, during peak times, the noise level can be a bit overwhelming due to the crowd. Thankfully, the comfortable seating and the novelty of having a grill on the dining table added to the overall experience.
While the concept was promising, I was disappointed by the cleanliness aspect. The dishes weren't as clean as I would have expected, with some of them even bearing traces of oil. This oversight left a negative impression. On a positive note, the staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Unfortunately, the management didn't exude a welcoming vibe, which did affect the overall ambiance.
Now, let's talk about the food. The starters were a delightful assortment of flavors. The live counter for Pani Puri and the variety of chaat and momos were a great way to kick off the meal. Opting for the non-vegetarian barbecue option, we were presented with a diverse array of appetizers:
MURGH RESHMI MUSH KOSTEL JHINGA NISHA MUTTON MUGHLAI SEEKH KABAB PESHAWARI TANGRI
While each dish was packed with flavor, I found the prawns a tad dry, though the mint chutney did wonders to enhance the taste.
The main course offered a robust selection, including the flavorful LOB CHICKEN DUM BIRYANI, the rich MUTTON ROGAN JOSH, and the aromatic METHI MURGH. One dish that stood out was the CHICKEN IN DEVIL SAUCE, which packed a spicy punch that left a lasting impression.
Now, onto the desserts - a true haven for those with a sweet tooth. We indulged in a variety of treats, including the MANGO PANNA COTTA, PECAN PIE CHEESECAKE, CHOCOLATE RIPPLE CHEESECAKE, LITCHI MOUSSE, MOCHA PASTRY, and CHOCOLATE FUDGE BROWNIE. The perfect way to end the meal was with a traditional touch - hot jalebis accompanied by rich RABRI, prepared right before our eyes.
In conclusion, Lords of Bar-B-Que offers a unique dining experience with its barbecue theme and interactive dining table grills. While the cleanliness issue and management's demeanor were a drawback, the attentive staff and wide range of flavorful dishes made up for it. The array of desserts was truly a delight for the senses, providing a fitting finale to an overall...
Read moreLord Of Bar-B-Que has newly opened up in place of Bombay Barbeque, with even better food and brighter interiors. They have an extensive variety of starters which are served live on a grill, main course, and desserts. This place has a live counter for pizza and pasta as well. The staff over here was very warm and courteous. Pros; Vibrant interiors with enormous seating. Food quantity was quite good. Quite a pocket-friendly BBQ place. Cons; The food quality is almost below average. The bar counter service was slower than a snail. The barman spilled dome of the drink fell on my shirt.
Sadly, they had only one bartender attending to everyone. I tried some of their mocktails including Cranberry mojito, Blue Lagoon, and Kiss On The Lips. My personal favorite was Kiss On The Lips which had a sweet and citrusy flavor.
Their mocktails have a huge scope for improvement as they all were just watery with too many ice cubes.
I relished all of their non vegetarian starters like Murgh ke Sholay, Mutton Seekh Kebabs, prawns, basa fish, etc. I loved the juicy prawns in particular as they tasted just wow. I also tried their Sev Puri which was made sweet as per my requirement. The flavors were well-balanced.
Then I tried their Chicken legs which were pretty raw as the meat was all white from within. Also tried my hands on chicken penne pasta in white sauce which was creamy, but loaded with an excessive amount of seasoning.
They had an elaborate spread of desserts to choose from including stone ice cream, jalebi, pudding, rabdi, pastries, phirni, and cupcakes. I binged on almost all of their last course spread particularly the Queen pudding. The brownie was quite hard and chewy whereas the Belgian pastry was delicious enough. I ended my meal with a bowl of chocolate flavored stone ice cream.
Overall Verdict:- They have a vast seating area and also a valet parking. Table reservation is strongly recommended. A nice place to enjoy a BBQ time with your family Cheers to the Team of Lord Of...
