We ordered from KFC yesterday on 02nd October 2020 at 8:24 pm via Zomato. ( no mistakes from Zomato side) After the call, we call KFC (City Center 2) restaurant to inform them about the order. They mentioned that their restaurant had power cut and hence there will be some delay about 30 min. I called again at 9:30 pm, they didn’t pick up the call. Then via Zomato customer care, i asked them for a call back from restaurant. Then i got a chance to talk to the store manager (named Jamir: Ph: +91 6297 71xxxx). He mentioned that the order is already dispatched, it should be at destination with in 10 min. I was waiting, I again called at 10:00 pm. He mentioned that the rider had some bike issue and he has given to some other rider, should be at the destination with 10 min. I again called at 10:30 pm. The store manager was asking if they can change the chicken items. When i asked why they are cooking up stories, he cut the call. Then I kept calling, no one picked the call. Then i called from a different number, the store manager picked up and then he started saying some other story. At 10:50 pm the store manager was saying some story instead of telling the actual timeline. Then i got a call from another person stating as the actual store manager, who accepted it all and apologised and offered to send the delivery at 11:30 pm. I already had an embarrassing situation at home in-front of my guests. I said I don’t need and didn’t accept anything from them.
I had my full family waiting for the food from 8:24 pm to 10:50 pm. After repeated calls, i was not given the actual updates. Is this expected from KFC and that too from a store manager ? I faced a very embarrassing situation yesterday. I don’t know what action will be taken against this store and the store manager.

Read moreI visited this KFC outlet with my family of 7 yesterday, and I must say, compared to the many KFCs I’ve visited PAN India and across the globe, this was by far the worst experience.
To begin with, the air conditioning was not working. We requested the staff multiple times before they finally turned it on, but even then, the space remained unbearably hot and humid, as if the thermostat wasn’t turned on. We were literally sweating throughout our meal, which made the entire dining experience uncomfortable and frustrating.
The behavior of the staff added to the disappointment. A lady staff member who was cleaning tables showed clear signs of irritation when we politely asked her to clean ours.
Hygiene standards were also shockingly poor. As I’m sharing in the video, the soap dispenser had no soap, only water came out. This is not what you'd expect from an international food brand known for its global standards.
To top it off, I had ordered rice as part of the meal, and it was half-cooked and hard, making it nearly inedible. This kind of oversight in food quality is simply unacceptable.
We spent a good amount of bucks on our meal, but it honestly didn’t feel worth even a fraction of that amount. While the taste was decent, the presentation was below average and certainly didn’t live up to KFC’s name.
To add to the concern, I now see similar reviews from other customers as well, which makes it even more disappointing.

Read moreDuring the college life, I have had enough time not only to hang out with friends but also revisit the same outlet over and over again. This place is one of those outlets where I have myself treated numerous times and have had got differential treatment.
It is located on the ground floor of the City Centre Mall and has an outdoor seating arrangement. The interior is quite large and maintained well enough.
Upon entering, the staffs at counter, if not preoccupied, will always smile and signal a welcoming. This place once have had specially challenged (deaf and dumb) persons serving but at later stage also found staffs without such speciality. It is to be noted that staffs with a speciality could understand me better than staffs who could listen as well as speak.
While, I do not feel the need to comment on the food and its quality, being it such a popular food chain; but, the items served here have always been fresh with no dampness in the crispy chicken (which I found in other outlets). The service is rather fast, and if sometimes any item is getting delayed, they ask you to get seated and later, they personally serve you at the table.
The recent visits to this outlet showed greater maturity from the staffs, more speedy delivery and store manager making rounds at jam packed times.
