I had ordered 3 chicken burgers, 1 veg burger and some fries from Zomato and I have received everything except the veg burger. I called the restaurant addressing the issue and they told me that they will give me the missing burger if I place an order again. I asked them the process and they told me to place the order and they will bill it as free. I said I wanted my missing veg burger but they said they will give me my missing burger plus another free veg burger. So I placed a cash on delivery order from Swiggy and I thought I will be receiving 2 burgers for free because the lady didn't mention anything about paying extra. When the delivery arrived the guy asked for the payment and I was surprised because I thought I didn't have to pay. I paid him. When I checked the receipt i saw that they had made a bill for 1 veg burger but gave me 2 burgers. Which means I technically ordered 2 veg burgers and paid for them both(no free burger as the lady mentioned). McDonald's answer me why did this happen? I just wanted 1 veg burger. I even said to the lady I just want 1 burger. I called back on the number a thousand times and they never picked up. Terrible management. I don't know whether this is the CoViD effect or not,.may be their Chief Chef is not present, but the quality has fallen drastically. I have ordered the Maharaja Mac Chicken Burger... There was no onion, no tomato, even no lettuce in the burger... The patty was burnt and had a smoky smell and taste to it, which is pretty unlikely in a burger. It basically kills the taste. I personally complained in their counter about it as well. The bun was okayish, but the amount of cheese and mayo they used to offer in Maharaj Mac Burgers were much higher than they did now. I want to give 1 star, but the Macflurry saved their day as it was awesome. It is the only good thing I have had. It was wonderfully crunchy with a great chocolatey taste. But strangely half of the Macflurry cup was empty beforehand, and we found it half full when we opened the cup. These things are really not expected from a reputed brand like McDonald's. I personally will not recommend anyone to visit their store right now. It's better if you order Macflurry from home and order burgers from any other place as there are a lot of reputed good quality options available right now in the market... And with this increasing competition from the likes of Burger King and KFC, McDonald's should up their quality to be relevant...
