One of the best authentic South-Indian Veg only restaurant which impressed me right from the word GO. To begin with, it was valet parking so there were no troubles worrying about parking space on the main road. Proper safety standards were followed with masks, shields and gloves worn by everyone who were serving their customers. Though it was a tad bit crowded, they had good seating space with great lighting. Since we went as a group we had the chance to try out almost all their signature dishes. For soups, their French onion was the best with amazing kick and mild spice; lemon coriander was sour yet was different Next up was the Paneer tikka, soft and well marinated; had good infusion of flavors. Sambar vada and Thayir vada were selling like hotcakes and the authentic south Indian flavor was visible in their sambar. P.S.: Boondi on top of thayir vada is the king. Their mini meals, variety meals, mushroom biryani and their tiffin varieties deserve an applause. Each of them were filled with a unique flavor though they were only mild-spiced. Gobi Manchurian and Honey chilly potato were my favorites; Gobi was spicy and the veggies were almost saturated in the sauce while the potato was sweet with crunchiness to it. It also had a saucy texture going well as a side for all dishes. Butter naan, Cheese Naan and Methi roti went great with Dhaba panner and Aloo Subzi. The cheesy stuffing in between the aloo in subzi deserves a praise. Sangeetha Special, Chocolate and Butterscotch Falooda were there to end the meal with. The base for all the desserts were same with slight aberration in their toppings. Sangeetha special had strawberry with Pista sauce, chocolate had a bourbon with Choco chips and the Butterscotch had crunchy caramel along with the jujube. To sum it up, the service was excellent with no waiting time for both seating and for the food to reach our tables. They were courteous enough to cater our group in spite of the weekend crowd. Their disposable cutleries was commendable given the current situation. And finally, price wise, they are still serving at nominal rates which would definitely attract their regular crowd/customers. WELL DONE!!

When I heard that there are 25+ outlets of Sangeetha in Chennai alone, the fact was exciting enough to get my ass moving towards it. So I chose this one as it is best-rated on google and Zomato; and they're not wrong! #AMBIENCE: One thing is kind of definate here, apart from the world class south Indian food, you'll be amazed to see the cleanliness and service here. Food is served in no time and waiters know what they are serving, so if you have doubts while ordering, waiters would guide just well enough. #FOOD: Everything, yes everything we had was top class. #PodiDosa (masala): It's a must, you got to have it. I, being from North, never ever had such a delectable dosa in my life. Hands down! Also, Podi means there would be a layer of chilli inside the dosa. #Bonda: This is another master class south Indian dish and it's something which would be loved by anyone in no time. #Chettinad Idly: Once again, this is the best Idly I've ever had; so soft and so tasteful that I could eat it all alone, without any chuttney or sambhar. Also there are two different sambhars that get served with chettinad items. #Basundi: Here comes the dessert; not as amazing as others but it kind of works. It's more like a fancy version of badam milk, served with a lot of malai. #FilterCoffee: Well, this is what Chennai is most famous for and you'll love it here. #SAMBHAR: I got to talk about this specifically. Personally, I'm not much of a sambhar lover, but this time I had three bowls of it. Perfection it is! What I not suggest is their north Indian food.. just don't order it simply! #Price: We paid near about Rs.250-300 for all this. Reasonable af, when I compare this to North. #OVERALL: This is one place that has really broke a few of the stereotypes I had about south Indian food which I always use to hear from a few friends of mine, that it's not as good as north. So if you're in chennai, Sangeetha is a must visit.

First of all the Captain who takes orders Mr.Narayan Prasad must be removed from the job if Geetham has to continue in future, if not they will loose lots of customers. He is totally not welcoming at all his attitude towards customers is not upto the standard of the restaurant. He thinks he owns the restauran and shows the same lethargic attitude while taking orders. When our food comes with few items missing and when asked Mr. Narayan he says: can you see the crowd how can we keep all these this in our mind and serve. This was his reply. And when we ordered Masala Milk at the end and asked for a straw he literally was shouting turing the other way and walked off thinking we did not hear him. I could clearly hear he shouted at us. Even if u see the menu for few minutes Mr. Narayan gets very angry and mumbles saying how long to wait for one order. He says in a way that we can hear and when asked he suddenly says I was telling the other customer table. Even that is wrong. See I am just a small middle class customer who comes once in a month for a dinner with family and enjoy the evening, when we encounter such incidents it is very irritating. I don't know I am visiting this restaurant since long time when this was Sangeetha the attitude of the staff was very courteous and they were very humble to us. But since the managements have changed to Geetham I must say the food and staff has gone a downfall. I am saying this cos even I am from a food business industry, if you want to save your restaurant please work on the staff attitude first they are ones we trust and come second is the food. If few people like Narayan are still there, I am sorry to say I can see the near future of this restaurant clearly. VERY VERY BAD PATHETIC ATTITUDE WORST EXPERIENCE. DID NOT ENJOY MY DINNER. MY EVENING WAS WASTED.

-Inside the toilet the water was stagnant. Not maintained properly. -wash basin area was messy -We entered at 3.40 pm asking for meals along with my elderly parents, they said the timing was over. -I asked for rasam saddham or sambar rice or curd rice the refused to serve mentioning the lunch time is over (Despite I requested only for two elderly couples who gave diabetics). There was a Hot case full of white rice laying arround. I requested if he could provide some from that. I had the same reply "meals time over". After repeated request I got only one curd rice. I am happy to have pasified my 88 year old father with curd rice. -We have to wait 12 to 15 minutes to have food orders taken. I guess due to lack of training about customer service and having non Tamil speaking waiters could be an issue (They were not empathetic at all. The attitude was like"I care a darn" by the staff. A senior manager for the duration of a good 45 to 50 minutes was not visible). Upselling was not found, no suggestive selling was happening to boost the business. -We were not offered beverages at the restaurant. -The tables next to us lost ther cools as well. Tell the staff whether they are waiters or table clearing persons not to gog at customers wallet when they are paying at the table. Just let the not be Ideal near customer table standing there. It was a bit uncomfortable to see insensitive staff to be arround. How ever we tipped the waiter and the table cleaner 20 percentage of our bill as tips. About location we have to come arround twice to identify the restaurant location. It would be better to post photos about nearby buildings or have landmarks or satellite view photo in the websites or in Google map (We were not from Chennai so with new road construction going on we spend a good 25-30 minutes to locate the restaurant as there were barricades). I Hope retraining happens for staff members and the slackness is...
