I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming establishment with my in-laws, and while our experience had its ups and downs, there were certainly highlights worth sharing.

Upon entering, the ambiance of the place set the stage for what we hoped would be a delightful dining experience. The decor and atmosphere were inviting, creating a warm and welcoming vibe.

The food, for the most part, was quite good. We couldn't resist indulging in a variety of delectable dishes, and the diverse selection of idlies was a real treat for our taste buds. They were prepared to perfection, and we relished every bite. However, there were a couple of instances where we felt that the menu prices didn't quite match the value delivered.

Our servers, while polite, occasionally encouraged us to opt for some of the more expensive items, labeling them as "special dishes." Unfortunately, in our opinion, these dishes turned out to be fairly ordinary, leaving us with a feeling of slight disappointment. We encountered a situation with the Rava dosa, where the server added the term 'onion' to it, resulting in an additional fifty rupees on our bill, which wasn't what we had anticipated.

Furthermore, there was an issue with the pricing of the paniaram. Our server initially informed us that it was priced at 45 rupees, but to our surprise, it appeared as 68 rupees on the final bill. When we inquired about the discrepancy, the server seemed uncertain about the exact prices, which left us feeling somewhat frustrated. This kind of misunderstanding and miscommunication should certainly be addressed by the management.

One aspect that stood out to us was the portion size of the paniaram. We received only three pieces, which we felt were not worth the premium price charged. It would have been more reasonable to align the cost with the quantity and quality...

Review a South Indian restaurant I recently visited a South Indian restaurant called MIS, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the food. The restaurant is located in a busy street, but it has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they explain the dishes well. The menu offers a range of South Indian specialties, such as dosas, idlis, vadas, uttapams, and curries. I ordered a masala dosa, which is a thin rice crepe stuffed with spiced potatoes and onions, served with coconut chutney and sambar. The dosa was crispy and flavorful, and the filling was generous and satisfying. The chutney and sambar added a nice contrast of sweetness and tanginess to the dish. My friend ordered an onion uttapam, which is a thick rice pancake topped with chopped onions, green chilies. The uttapam was soft and fluffy, and the toppings gave it a nice crunch and spice. It was also served with coconut chutney and sambar, which complemented it well. We also shared a vegetable korma, which is a creamy curry with mixed vegetables, cashews, raisins, and spices. The curry was rich and aromatic, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. The korma went well with the plain basmati rice that came with it. For dessert, we had rava kesari, which is a semolina pudding flavored with cardamom, saffron, and nuts. The pudding was sweet and fragrant, and the nuts added some texture. It was a perfect way to end our meal. The restaurant offers authentic and delicious South Indian cuisine at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves spicy and flavorful food. Situated in the prime location only challenge is...

One of the most traditional South Indian Food Restaurant I have visited. You get everything served on Banana leaf and I just loved that. Initially you will be given with 4 types of chutney, Nariyal, pudhina, lasan and tomato. Then, I have ordered dosa and idly, which is priced per piece so, you can order accordingly. There is one person who is servicing some other specialities by coming to your table, you can opt for dishes if you want. I really liked the Appam (Salty), I don't remember South Indian name of that but, generally we call them appe. Only disappointment was Vada. Sambar was quite optional with food, if you request, they will serve. That was also okay type. But Murugan's idli were delite to have. We even tried Jigarthanda, which is said to be Chennai Delicacy. I found it just ok to be honest as ice cream in it was having extra sugar. You can see the items on my table, that costed me around 440 something. So, you can imagine how pocket friendly it was.

Really satisfied with this branch of Murugan idli shop. The taste was so good and the food was worth paying the bill. We had idli and podi idli accompanied with medhu vada with four varieties of chutney and sambar, at first. Idlis were so soft, medium hot and was very smooth to enter the stomach through the mouth. None of the chutney's sounded old which means the chutney's were fresh. Ghee pongal was over-they said. But, sweet pongal was available and it was very very tasty and yummy. They served it hot and we were tempted to order one more cup of the same. Then, we had a ghee roast and set of poori which were also too good to taste. Finally, a coffee gave the finishing touch in a very smoother way. Nothing to complain about the food and were all real good., and so a 5 star rating. Only difficulty we faced was to park our 4 wheeler. But , that was okay to leave nearby and walk a little distance. Thanks much for the delightful food, we had!!
