The Noodles Godfather — Restaurant in Zone 13 Adyar

My search for genuine Chinese Restaurants is a never ending quest. Many hotels serve so called Chinese food with heavy Indianized type. Genuine Chinese food is hard to come by unless owned by the Chinese themselves.

I landed up in Noodles GodFather some time back. A typical Chicken Noodles Soup and a bowl of Chicken Noodles was ordered. Sadly the Soup was excessively salty and the Noodles used was over cooked.

That was some time ago. Recently I visited again and the whole place had changed. They have done up the interior and the atmosphere itself had changed for the better. This time the Noodles Soup was good. The bowl of Chicken Noodles was almost right to my palate. The Beef fry let down the food. The beef was hard and badly done.

Another main crib was the servers don't speak English or Tamil as they were from North East region. When I say they were from a particular region, I have no intention of belittling any region. The Noodles Godfather absolutely lives up to the hype! This is easily one of the best places in Chennai for Chinese and Pan-Asian food that is both delicious and very affordable. The menu is huge—it has everything! From classic Manchow Soup and various Momos to an incredible range of flavored fried rice and noodles (we especially loved the Chilli Garlic Fried Rice). The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and the food comes out quickly. It's a perfect spot for a casual lunch or dinner with family/friends. Great ambience and polite staff. These ppl think they are smart and call others cheap . They have no decency nor do they know how to talk. For a Doctor a mere fried rice is no issue so think how pathetic their fried rice was if i had to go to an extent of complaining and also for thinking of going to a consumer court.
