As a long-time regular customer of this KFC branch in Chennai, I have had both positive and negative experiences to share. While the fried chicken (broasted chicken) remains my all-time favorite, there are several aspects of this restaurant that need improvement.
Firstly, the perpetual crowds and long queues in front of the counter have become a common sight. This leads me to wonder if the restaurant's reputation as the "best KFC in Chennai" is the primary reason behind this overwhelming demand. However, the downside of the popularity is the extensive wait times to place an order, which is not ideal for time-conscious customers.
The staff members, on the other hand, have always been pleasant and courteous. I appreciate their hard work and dedication in handling the crowds. However, I noticed a recurring issue with the product prices displayed and the billing price. The discrepancies in pricing lead to confusion and disputes between customers and the staff, resulting in additional time wasted for everyone involved.
Furthermore, the increasing parking problem in the vicinity has added to the inconvenience. Finding a parking spot near the restaurant has become quite a challenge lately, which makes dining in even more frustrating.
Considering these issues, I find myself leaning towards ordering online rather than visiting the restaurant. Online ordering can save time and avoid the hassle of long queues, billing disputes, and parking woes. However, I hope the management addresses these concerns and works towards enhancing the overall dining experience for in-house customers as well.
In conclusion, while the broasted chicken and the good-natured staff are commendable aspects of this KFC branch, the management needs to urgently address the issues of overcrowding, pricing discrepancies, and parking woes. Until these improvements are made, I'll be opting for online orders to save time and frustration.
Older review, more than a year ago: KFC isn't the real KFC you get in India. India we get completely a different flavor. But this place is absolute amazing! Even though they don't taste the original KFC, here they don't serve stale chicken like most of the restaurants. I'm visiting this restaurant since 2016, and will visit again. I can understand since it's a weekend there will be more crowd but their only work is call up the order number and do the delivery rest of the things are automated. But I couldn't find the Store Manager , supervisor or anyone out there. When I asked for billing they showed the self order kiosk. The person who stood before me try to take a printout unfortunately the total bill roll fell down. That customer left it in the floor, but nobody care to refix it, they simply came and tore the bill roll. Like wise the same thing happened in the another they repeated the same. Cleanliness after i requested them to clean the table since most of the table was left with finished plates and leftovers by previous customers. They didn't care to clean the table after i requested, billing guy told 2 mins sir but waited for almost 20 mins and i finished my order with the corner of one place and finished my place and left the place. I have been to many KFC in Chennai but Anna Nagar outlet in 2nd Avenue is one the topmost worst place in eateries which has more than 10 to15 employees for an self service outlet. But they don't care nothing about the customer. Completely disappointed. Even with minimal employees in other outlets they respond way more responsibly. These people are taken customers for granted. There was standy outside the outlet mentioning "We are open till 1 Am" but my order was refused and they simply said it is only for swiggy and zomato but it was not mentioned on standy
The question is you guys are able to give service through swiggy and zomato but why you guys are not considering the customers who comes to your shop directly even in heavy rain
When i was escalating it to the manager Nazruddin , like a fool he is talking to me. I was shuttle in my way of asking questions but he literally out of his mind and started using irrespective and abusive words .when i was saying can i escalate this issue to your regional manager,He simply said "Do whatever you can " "Unnala enna panna mudiyumo pannu " "Apdi dhaa pesuven" and he refused to show his face too . He is hiding behind that mask and throwing words randomly.
I don't what kind of attitude he has , i think he is a person who has zero knowledge in client handling and iam not sure how you guys made this stupid as a manager
Iam ready to give my number and you can check the number of invoice in my number I would have spent more than 30k in KFC alone in the year of 2024 till now but the Nazruddin treated me and the words he used literally offended me
