Wow, what an amazing little hidden in plain sight gem. We were wandering the streets of Canggu and this sweet waitress was standing out front offering a taste of these amazing puffy balls filled with potato and a tamarind sauce called pani puri, which i have never come across before. These little morsels awakened our hunger beasts so we decided to stop in for a very late lunch/ early dinner.
They had 2 for one cocktails ( the espresso Martini was on point) they had buttermilk and mango lassi. Onto the food, we were brought some prawn crackers and a mint dip to munch on whilst we perused the menu.
To my utter delight they had dosa which is an absolute favourite of mine.
We had a masala dosa with all the trimmings and then an extra crispy dosa, we got the aunty ji's special butter chicken, lamb madrass, rice, cheesey garlic nan and some more pani puri. We sat and ate and chatted with the staff until we were utterly stuffed. We had so much food left over we got a doggy bag for snacks later.
The restaurant also has wifi and power points and they said they don't mind us coming back and using our laptops whilst munching down on their amazing food.
We were quite surprised at the bill being so reasonably priced for 3 adults with multiple cocktails and lassi's heaps of food and plenty of left overs.
The food was soo good, i only took a picture of my espresso Martini 🤣

Read moreMe and my husband ate there last night. The food was absolutely gorgeous. The dishes were really tasty and the portion sizes were very generous. We both said the samosas were the best Indian starter we’ve ever had! The butter chicken and paneer tikka masala were both very very good. Service was a bit chaotic. Dishes came out randomly - one starter first, then some chips, and then everything else together while we were still eating our starter meaning the food went cold and our table was extremely full. We’d prefer starters, a little break, and then the mains together with sides. This makes it a more enjoyable meal. The staff forgot about one of our starters, despite me reminding them when they brought out all the food. It came as the very end of the meal as we were ready to pay the bill. I explained it was too late and we didn’t want it as we’d already finished, and the man blankly stared at me, rolled his eyes and walked off. Me and my husband were very shocked and disappointed. Luckily, the two front of house ladies handled the situation much more professionally by apologising and insisting we took the dish home and have it for free to make up for the mistake, which we appreciated. Overall, the meal was an enjoyable one - we’d recommend it! It would have been perfect if service was improved (by some of the staff, not all!), and the food came out...
