A lovely space to drink tea, read a book, reflect yourself. However, if you don't smoke, it can be a turn off as there are many smokers in the place.
To me, this place felt like a magic because it had what I needed (gong fu set & sheng pu'er). I saw the book I've been wanting to read even before I sat on a table 😳
I finished the entire book while sipping the tea (ordered sheng pu'er, seminyak).
The staffs, the guests, everyone in the venue was respecting another person's space.
P.s. I didn't feel any chaqi/ tea energy from drinking seminyak sheng puer. The leaves I tasted were flat. I suspect it didn't get stored properly.
This can be a problematic to an avid tea drinker. However, just for sipping, this place will do. Overall, a good place to enjoy tea 😊
My response to the owner's reply: The storage method exactly explains the stale taste. From Camellia Sinensis, no or minimal oxidation (green tea) oxidation (white, yellow, oolong, black) microbial ripening ( sheng, shou, heicha from China) fermantaion (miang from Thailand, goishicha from Japan, cheongtaejeon from Korea).
Any sheng store in a zipbag away from oxigen and moisture will go stale. Once the tea goes stale and dead, it's hard to bring it...
