I can't express how much I enjoyed staying and Puri Andong Villa!
The staff is out of this world - they are positive, friendly, helpful, kind, caring! They make sure that you feel like a royalty! They are available 24/7 via WhatsApp which was super convinient for me.
I was visiting Bali while Galungan was happening (the great Balinese Holiday), and the staff kindly and generously invited me to join them in morning prayer, they let me borrow the sarong and explained every step of the prayer. It was amazing and I am super grateful for this opportunity, to join in this ceremony.
The villa is AMAZING, it is huge, the bathroom is huge, it even had a jakuzzi. Everything is super-clean, I never seen anything so clean as Puri Andong Villa. I slept like a baby on the huge bed and was safely covered by mosquito net, even though there were none! I only got bit twice in my 5 day stay and it was OUTSIDE of the villa.
The food is super tasty, you can order breakfast beforehand, but everything else is available in 20 minutes max.
The pool is very nice, it is very cooling to dive in after a day of adventures. In some days I just chilled by the pool with a book and enjoyed complimentary tea and black rice pudding (which was super tasty).
Sometimes a couple of cats visit the territory. They don't bother anyone, just pass through.
Overall, I already miss the amazing people from the Villa, and want to go back. I will be back!! And I will bring all my friends and family with me.
Thank you so much for your...
Read moreThe accommodation is very clean, modernly furnished, and well equipped. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The location directly on the main road is convenient for exploring the surroundings of Ubud, but it is not central.
Unfortunately, the nights were not very restful: the neighbors' rooster sometimes started crowing at 2 a.m., and by 5 a.m. at the latest, the peace and quiet was over. In addition, the rooms are extremely noisy – we could hear our snoring neighbors through the walls all night long. The noise of motorcycles on the street is also very noticeable at night. Earplugs only help to a limited extent.
The late arrival was also annoying: we arrived at 9:45 p.m., and after checking in and being shown to our room, it was shortly after 10 p.m. – and we couldn't order anything in the restaurant because it had already closed. They could have asked us at check-in if we wanted something to eat. Communication was also difficult at times, as some of the staff spoke very little English.
In the end, we felt that the price-performance ratio was not right: despite the beautiful accommodation, the nights were hardly restful, we hardly used the pool, and overall we paid significantly more than it was worth for the actual comfort. We could probably have slept better and more peacefully...
Read moreThis is the nicest accommodation I’ve ever stayed at. Everything about this property emulates “5 star hotel.” From the incredibly friendly staff (seriously, the best) to the gorgeous room and landscaping around it, this place is simply astonishing. Our villa was massive and had a beautiful bathroom. The pool was nice and warm, air conditioning was great, and room service was insanely quick! Staff helpfully sent our clothes for laundering, and setup a scooter rental for us. This hotel makes your stay effortless - you don’t even need to worry about carrying your luggage to and from your room. One moment that stood out was on our first night, when we returned home to the villa in the evening (it was dark) a staff member ran (literally ran) up to us getting off of our scooter, addressed us by name, and wanted to carry our water bottles to the room for us. I was really in awe that they already knew our name and were so happy to help.
Your stay here will feel luxurious - far beyond normal Bali standards of...
