Ganesha Ek Sanskriti — Restaurant in Jakarta

One of the best Indian Restaurant which replicates the exact taste of Indian Dishes. Great Hospitality, Highly professional staff right from Chef to Manager to Waiters. Amazing Ambiance and View from the Restaurant.

Have tried almost entire menu of AlaCarte :) ! My tip picks would be Masala Dosa, Hakka Noodles & Chilli Chicken, Malai Kofta, Dal Makhni, Butter Chicken, Lunch Box for Delivery.

Today was my first try to there Sunday Brunch - And yes I’m a fan of that as well now.

It had wide array of dishes and I’ve haven’t seen such a massive spread in any of the Indian buffets across Indonesia. And not only that each and every dish was hot n fresh and if not staff is more than happy to make it fresh for you right away.

Menu Included - Mentioning what all I still remember I’m sure there would be more which I don’t remember now :) !

Starters: Papdi Chaat, Chole Samosa, Dosa, Stuffed Idli (Soft n Yummy), Mirchi Wada, Chilli Paneer, Chicken Tikka, Fish Fry, Tomato Shorba, Kachori Aloo, Pani Puri, Chole Tikki, Dal Baati, Veg & Chicken Momos.

Main Course: Tawa Mutton, Butter Chicken, Hakka Noodles, Veg Manchurian, Bhindi Masala, Paneer Lababdar, Dal Fry, Gobhi Aloo, Saag, Dahi Wada, Salad, Vinegar Onion, Pickles, Mango Chutney, Biryani, Naan, Paratha & Rotis.

Dessert: Jalebi, Rabri, Rasgulla, Kulfi, Falooda, Fruits. And to top it up Jalebi was made fresh and served piping hot on the table.

Even we requested for fresh Kachoris and it was made fresh and given.

Lovely meals Price is kinda expensive. Pretty venue. Lovely staff. Love the veg options. Lemon rice could use more garlic and dried chilli and need more lemony taste. Also a bit more peanuts please.

Would appreciate a bit more veggies. I know this perhaps not very indian but a side of steamed veggies like carrot brocolli gobi etc with indian seasonings would be nice x. The raw veggies is a little...too fresh for me 😭. Dont get me wrong they are lovely touch but am not used to so much raw thick crunch x Love yr buffet food. But ac is too hot. Please fix ac make it colder x

Btw pls consider opening buffet in bsd.

Sunday buffet:

V nice spread.

The towel used for wiping the table needs change more often. Come early because they dont replenish the food quick enough when its gone.

Pasta is off the table before the service is finished. I ask for it to be made and delivered to my table 3x and none was followed through.

I had to request for the fruit to replenished and it takes another time to get it done. I mean i shudnt be the one reminding.

I asked for a table to get cleaned but also it is not being followd through promptly. And it smells bcos the repeated use of the towel as mentioned above.

Turns out the ac is ok, borderline a little too warm. Just dont sit by the window bcos it gets warm there. The more inside...

In summery:

The pros:

The food is great. Very tasty and has a good variety in the buffet. The butter chicken Dessert is superb. Nothing at all to complain. Kudos to the chef and his team.

Staff is friendly.

The cons:

Service is lacking a bit of finesse. They could have better command in english. Yet friendly as said earlier.

They dont give water. Which i think is a disappointment.

The ambience needs a bit of tlc. Some lamps are broken and bulbs burnt. It could use a bit of maintenance.

Since in bank building parking is a bit of a hassle. But not too much.

Other stuff:

The ambience is good. Seats are comfortable. The layout is good and the view from the restaurant is good as well. They should address the staff inability to understand english. At least if they dont understand tell them to send someone who does. We ordered more water and it never came. Think the waiter didnt understand. The second one was like two bottles on your table already. When we said more didnt understand. So had to gesture by hand!
