Kyochon 1991 | Pacific Place — Restaurant in Jakarta

Went for lunch on a weekday, in a group of 3 with no reservation. It was crowded but we got a table in 5 minutes.

We ordered the Kyochon chicken signature platter which contains 6 wings of each flavor (red, honey, & soy) and 4 pieces of salsal (boneless strips). We also got their chicken tteokbokki and fried sweet potatoes.

Texture of their fried items are perfectly crispy and not too oily. The sweet potatoes are served piping hot in big chunks. The inside is sweet and fluffy, and works well with the salt they sprinkled on it.

The chicken might not seem like a lot, but actually very filling. Batter is not too thick, and the coating sauce sticks well to the chicken. The red sauce is legit burning spicy, the honey and soy flavor also tasted like the real thing. The salsal is actually meaty and does not feel like some heavily battered nuggets.

The chicken tteokbokki, on the other hand, was just okay. Tteok was nice and chewy but the sauce just felt like pepper. It also contains so much vegetables and just some tiny pieces of chicken it kind of feels unnecessary. They might as well skip the chicken and add some odeng or something.

All in all, a good value for money. We ate a lot and still could not finish everything and had the rest for takeouts. Might give a 5 if they slayed...

I came here because I was tempted by the discount voucher from bobobobo so why not? I haven't tried anything good from Korean restaurant so this is the place where I popped my cherry on Korean delicacies.

I ordered original wings and spicy wings. I thought the wings were too dry. But they tasted like duck because of its dryness and the choice of spices. The original was good, though. And the spicy wings tasted weird because I rarely eat something with that kind of spices.

About the ambiance, I didn't really like the noisy waterfall near the Kyochon. Not planning to go to this kind of...

Food is good, atmosphere is good. But i’m very disappointed with the service. They claim to have a healthier ingredients, way of cooking, etc but my order come out burned. When i ask is it suppose to be like that, they offer to replace it. 10 minutes later (a long wait if u r hungry) the meal come back, not in a good shape as it was, and it was cold not warm at all, and when I started to eat, found out the burned meat was flipped on the back. I ask, they say already replace it. So they replace the burn meat with another burn one? Only God and...
