Morning Blues — Restaurant in Jakarta

This coffee shop is a bit new, the place is in Royal Mediteranian Residence Apartment in West Jakarta, close to the Central Park Mall, Neo Soho Mall and Pullman Hotel. So if you want to go inside, you need to go to the Royal Mediteranian Residence Area first. Cartenz Coffee and Kitchen serve you both for beverages and foods. You can order the menu from the cashier place and you can ask them about the informations about your food or beverages. If i am not wrong they serve both light and heavy meal. For the beverages, they serve coffee and non-coffee. For the coffee they only have a few options for manual brew because they are more focusing on the milk-based and espresso-based coffee. And if you can not drink coffee, you can order the tea or other beverages, i saw they have a good quality of tea on the cashier place. You can buy their cookies as well to eat with the coffee, it tastes good. They have 2 area, indoor and outdoor. The indoor site have some tables and chairs, so you can sit there with some of your friends. But for the outdoor, they only have 2 tables with 4 high chairs for each tables, and you can smoke at the outside area. The price is not too expensive but not cheap as well. For a cup of brew coffee, you need to pay around IDR 37,000. The place is so cozy, even when you just want to enjoy...

After heard this place from TikTok, decided to give this coffeeshop a visit while I looked for some place to finish my works in CP area - as this coffeeshop happened to open until 23.00.

It's kinda easy to find as it's located nearby the apartment entrance. I can say, the indoor is quite nice with minimalistic style and lots of windows - these should provide great lighting and ambience during daytime.

This coffeeshop is also quite suitable for WFC setup - lots of power sockets, like almost all tables have their own dedicated socket. The wifi access is also quite fast - have no problem with it.

Ordered Iced Black Lemonade and it tastes great - quite refreshing, not too sweet and it has some fizz - especially under hot weather. The lemonade really complement the flavor of their espresso - kinda fruity with some acidity.

Would love to give this coffeeshop another visit and explore their other...

I stumbled upon this café while searching for a place that is WFC-friendly on Sunday.

It is in my walking distance, so I give it a go First, I like the small yet cozy ambiance inside. Each table provides a sufficient amount of charging plugs (2 for each).

Floors are flat enough and my table was able to stay as it is.

I ordered their iced matcha latte and for me.. it is pretty okay? The matcha was not that bitter.. more on a sweeter side of drink that you commonly found on streets. 2 hours passed and I decided to order a plate of Madam Zhang fried rice. This fried rice was more on the kampung fried rice (less soy sauce) with smoked beef inside and fried chicken skin as side. I have no words. This is solid! Savory, check! Crispy skin, check! Light yet umami, check!

Overall, this place might not be on your daily list due to the price, yet feel free to try because as people said, you get what...
