My wife & I did lunch here today and did the degustation menu with the wine pairing. Overall, it was EXCELLENT. I would recommend this place to anybody who enjoys quality food & world-class service that is just down right enjoyable all around. There were a few things they could have done differently to make it all EVEN BETTER, but this is only in the spirit of chasing greatness/perfection. Keep up the great work. You are a 9.5/10 in my book already. Pros - Service, location, ambience… all absolutely top notch - Overall composition of the degustation menus was excellent, and well thought through Cons - The reconstructed sea grape spheres in the the fish carpaccio dish lacked the great saltiness that sea grapes themselves naturally offer. If you insist on using the e reconstructive method, consider using a small sprinkle of maldon salt flakes for your the much-needed punch. (Otherwise just go with fresh sea grapes - they would not only bring that micro explosion of saltiness but also the popping texture) - Second dumpling in the barramundi dish was a repeat in the same degustation course (albeit with different stuffing) was redundant. That’s a total faux pas. At least consider ravioli or tortellini instead, if you feel the need to do another dumpling in the course. That would still go well with the East Meets the West angle. The barramundi, by the way was cooked & seasoned perfectly, by the way, and the locally-inspires curry sauce to go with the dish works very well. - The steak was cooked to absolute perfection, but unfortunately not seasoned properly. However the dish itself on the whole was delectable. The carrot. Perfection. The mushroom sauce. Amazing… One final comment: you could be a bit more forthcoming with incorporating the true Balinese aspects to the overall menu. More spices, more adventurous flavor profiles. Just because you’re part of St Regis, you don’t need to lean too far to the westernized palete.

Hands down one of the best fine dining in Nusa Dua. Highly recommended. To get to Kayuputi, you pull into the St Regis Resort, walk through the grand and luxurious lobby, down a few steps of stairs, hop into a buggy, and you’re welcome to a tour of their exquisite garden yard filled with villas as it takes you to the front steps of the restaurant. Restaurant is brightly lit inside. We took a table in the smoking area outside, ocean facing. Although it’s too dark to see the ocean, the sound of waves was just as soothing. Cheese selection was delicious. The bread was aaaaamazing. Wanted to try their dessert but mid-dinner I decided to enjoy more of the bread instead. It was that good. Staff was well trained on the menu and course after course we continued to be amazed. I had called ahead just 15 minutes before arrival. They managed to have a card printed and showered the table with rose petals for our occasion. How thoughtful! When asked where the chef came from, I was expected France or other European countries. My jaw almost dropped when she said Bali. Kudos to you chef, you fooled my tastebud with your talented dishes. Kayuputi lives up to its fame 100%. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Located in the St. Regis Hotel, I have to say that it's the most worth it fine dining restaurant in Bali that has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, convenient reservation, beautiful presentations, and I can also tell that the chefs use the best quality ingredients to produce dishes that are simply delightful. Yes I recommend them to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again (In fact I always come back there everytime I'm in Bali 😀 When we think about celebrations, Kayuputi is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything were outstanding. I had a 5-course meal (Tasting Menu), which looks small but extremely filling in the end. Kiwami wagyu beef striploin MB9+ was especially fantastic!!! it’s just unforgettable feeling how it just melts in your mouth. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out or simply for a dinner, celebrating with family and friends. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is chill.

Our dinner at Kayuputi at St. Regis Bali was nothing short of amazing. The combination of breathtaking ocean views, exceptional food, and top-notch service made it a night to remember.

The menu is a work of art. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The lobster bisque was rich and indulgent, and the Wagyu beef was cooked to perfection—it literally melted in our mouths. Each bite felt like a special treat.

One of the highlights of the evening was trying the Bloody Mary, which has a unique connection to the St. Regis brand. Fun fact: The original Bloody Mary was created at the first St. Regis in New York, and every St. Regis around the world serves its own local twist on the cocktail. At St. Regis Bali, it’s called the Bali Mary, and it features a mix of exotic spices and local flavors like jicama and cucumber. It’s a must-try!

The drinks and wine pairing were equally impressive. The sommelier helped us choose wines that paired perfectly with each course, and the cocktails were creative and delicious.

The service was flawless. The staff were so attentive and made sure every moment was special. They shared insights about the dishes and even the history of the Bloody Mary, which added a fun personal touch to the evening.

The setting was pure magic. Dining with the sound of waves and the open-air oceanfront atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. It’s one of those places where you can truly unwind and enjoy the moment.

Kayuputi isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. The blend of history, flavor, and hospitality makes it a must-visit. If you’re in Bali, make sure to stop by for a meal (and definitely a Bali Mary!).
