Kirana cafe — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

I love this little family owned restaurant on the beach! They make their food with love and are so welcoming to every guest they have.

It’s right on the beach, next to the little parking area. You can take your food and eat on the beach, on the sun beds, or eat at the restaurant. I love ordering my food and going swimming for about an hour and coming back to the restaurant to fill up on nourishment.

Across from the restaurant you will also find a few massage beds and ladies ready to offer you a Balinese massage on the beach.

Back to Kirana! I love their bbq skewers and their sambal mata! I usually get the bbq chicken and veggie skewers or the whole bbq snapper. Anything bbq on the menu is delicious!

They are right on the beach, closest to the little parking. Their coconuts are also delicious and at a fair price.

2x sate lillit took 50 minutes. Only six tables when we sat down. Other guests came in later and got their food before us. Table next to us of four had lunch and payed got their fries after they finished their sate. He was surprised. So were we when we saw it.

After 40 minutes I asked if the food was still coming. Of course they will say it's coming. Came 10 minutes later. Sambal mata was also finished. Ate and payed.

We went back to our sun beds and ordered fries there. Two restaurants to the right. With in 5 it was on the table. We should have stayed...

No matter how hungry you are, it is definetly not worth it to eat there. No other guests and 3 meals still took 1 Hour. Rice was cold, sidedishes couldn‘t even say what it was. Burger looked and tasted worse than MC Donalds and Fries were cold aswell. Just go for a bintang and enjoy the view before thinking about eating there.
