The word buffet doesn't not even begin to describe the experience of having a meal here. I would call it a gastronomy journey, served by some of the most engaging, hardworking, attentive and warm people I've met in all my years travelling.
The meals were so good that we had dinners throughout our 2 nights stay here too, alongside the breakfast which was included in our stay.
Every dish served were immaculately prepped and presented. Each item was served as if it was fine dining, the combination of colors, smell and taste coming together to a symphony of flavors.
No request is too difficult for the dedicated team of people here whom we continuously engaged throughout our 4 meals at this wonderful place. We had the pleasure of meeting people like Suyasa, Elbert, Swandewi, Sari, Winho and so many more that we didn't manage to get their names. They took the dining experience to a whole new level with their warmth and level of service. My son especially enjoyed engaging and talking to them during meal times.
As for the food, I'll let the picture do the talking since it's worth so many more words than what I can write.
I know my family will be dreaming of the meals here when we have our regular dinners and breakfast for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been to all the high end Sunday brunches in Bali and this one was my least favorite for the following reasons:
Not very vegetarian friendly. Every single dish in the buffet has animals in it except the dessert and bread section.
Although the Chef made a special vegetarian menu, sadly it was bland and all side dishes: Miso soup, quinoa salad, noodles, and potato & broccoli. Not what you'd want for a decadent brunch.
Many people at our table were meat eaters and were unimpressed with their dishes as well.
Service is slow. I was often searching to get staff attention, check on forgotten food and drink orders, or to clear stacks of plates and cups. At other buffets, the plates are cleared before I come back to the table and fresh cutlery is ready.
Aircon isn't strong enough. Two people at our table were sweating.
Dessert selection felt like an afterthought. It was there, but not anything special. The St Regis tea was the best part of brunch.
Regular brunch cost is 700k per person or 1.6mil per person for an alcoholic package. However if you go to the bar from 11-12 there is free flow...
