During my stay in Bali, I had the pleasure of dining at The New Bangle, an Indian restaurant located within the Vouk Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the warm and attentive staff made us feel truly welcome, guiding us to a beautifully set table in a serene, spa-like atmosphere.
For my meal, I began with a perfectly crisp samosa entrée, followed by a richly flavored Rogan Josh served with saffron rice and a side of garlic naan. The Rogan Josh, in particular, stood out as one of the best I’ve ever had—deeply aromatic, tender, and absolutely delicious.
The dishes were complemented by a selection of house-made sauces, which added an extra layer of flavor to an already outstanding meal. Paired with a refreshing beer (or three), the entire experience was both indulgent and memorable. Included was a Bollywood dance review as nice touch.
I highly recommend The New Bangle to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Bali. It's a hidden gem that delivers exceptional food and heartfelt hospitality. But hey, don't take my word for it. See...
Read moreMy husband and I visited this restaurant for lunch today and we were hugely impressed. The restaurant is lovely. The food was beautiful..... all the normal choices from an Indian restaurant but with a modern spin which made it even more special. We have eaten Indian in many countries and this was outstanding. We often find that there is insufficient sauce on our curries but here for $5 you can buy extra butter chicken sauce or curry sauce. The presentation of the food is beautiful and the taste exquisite. But above all the service is phenomenal, the staff are 15 out of 10. they all go the extra mile to ensure you are having the best experience possible. The cocktails were lovely and not expensive and the wine choice was lovely. I highly recommend you try this restaurant and if you go at night you will be entertained with Bollywood dancing as well as the fabulous service. Make a booking now you wont be...
Read moreFabulous restaurant. Staff very friendly, food delicious. Very accommodating about my intolerance to spicy food. Vegetable pakora was the best I've ever eaten. Crispy on the outside, tasty on the inside. Very generous serve. Butter chicken was served with a bowl of the butter chicken sauce on the side at my request. Enjoyed the dish along with the steamed basmati rice which had a hint of cloves. So yummy. On top of all that, we were delighted with the dancers who performed for the diners. Would highly recommend...
