Hope you're ready for some authentic Indonesian vibe.... Laid back, tasteful, beautiful food, very clean, good service, they have bebek (duck) prepared in various ways, accompanied with nasi (steamed rice) and lalapan (vegetables) that is timun (fresh sliced cucumber) serai (lemongrass leaves) and different kinds of sambal (chili sause) may you love red, green or sambal mata(finely cut chili and shallots) you can serve yourself. A favourite place of locals, especially Javanese. If you need some cutlery, let them know, as in here you are supposed to use your hands, but you are offered a bowl of water to rinse your fingers once you finished one of the tastiest duck you can get ❤️Go local with Bebek H. We dined at 22/08/2025, the cuisine we ordered was exquisite! Well-made, well-presented. We had one portion of classic deep fry duck (bebek goreng) and another black-spiced duck (bebek goreng bumbu hitam). They were marvelous.

Bebek Hj. Slamet generously provides a range of free sambal (freshly made chili salsa). Their signature sambal korek was eye-popping and as personal favorite: sambal pencit (spicy sour mango with light texture). Delicious stand-alone 👍

This place is highly recommended not only for its taste, but also for its quiet dining area, lined with big trees and wooden interior seemingly influenced by Nusantara Peranakan architecture. You’ll feel at rest and replenished right away. Who knew such quality could still be found in busy...

Upsetting experience as a local. Bad food, bad hygiene, overpriced.

Ordered bebek kriuk, bebek paha bakar kemangi, bebek paha goreng, tumis daun papaya and drinks.

Tumis daun papaya was good, but everything else was terrible.

First, my rice was served on a very dusty plate

Then I tasted the fried duck, and it smelled so awful that I almost puked. Some duck meat preparation steps to remove odor were definitely missed before frying.

And to make things worse, the tables at the back were infested with mosquitos and flies during daytime. Really cannot imagine how much worse it would be at night. Felt like I was feeding them instead.

Total bill was 260k+.

Seriously, go eat at bebek tepi sawah, bengil, or warung...
