Warung Kolega — Restaurant in Kuta

TODAY I was extremely terrified to come back, all this time I thought that they are quite hygenic that's why I don't mind paying extra. I went and got a takeout, the employee however can't seem to pack the food properly, so the lady boss packed it for her, but counting on the situation right now it was TERRIFYING WHEN THE LADY BOSS HAS HER MASK DOWN HER CHIN AND SHE WAS TALKING WITH THE FOOD (that I ordered) THAT SHE IS PACKING WIDE OPEN IN FRONT OF HER, where any particles from her mouth can end up in my food! Even small warung near my house understands the importance of wearing a mask and hygiene in the current situation right now!! Beside that adding to the surprise I found a small wire (from the iron wool used to wash the dishes) in my food ☹️ I didn't get to take a picture as I threw it...

My first time trying this kind of warung. Where you pick the rice (white, red or yellow), the meat or veggie and side dish. After that the cashier instead of telling you how much and let you pay, they pass you price tags for every dish or item you ordered. Then before leaving, go back to the cashier and pay.

I assume it's to anticipate in case i order something else while still there. Full of trust!!! This is impressive!

But unfortunately because of this, the staff doesn't go around much. Leaving tables did not take care of immediately after the customer finished eating or leaving.

There's plenty of selections here. Love it!!!

The vibe here is also very nice. Making me feel like it's a pretty cool place to hang out...

First time eating here, recommended by friends. Food order: "Nasi Kuning", "Perkedel", "Empal", "Singkong", "Sambal Merah" Drink order: Ice Tea without sugar

All tasted good except for "Perkedel", smell like urine. After finish eating, I had food poison / allergic reaction: my tongue cramp, nausea, stomach hurt, head spinning, and heavy breathing. I rushed to go back and ate active carbon "Norit", leaving my friends behind, it saved my day!

I have no idea which one that made me like this, but I have no allergic reaction except only for few rashes when I was still in elementary school eating fish.

Sorry for bad rating, maybe it was an accident, but bad...
