TL; DR: pick something else in the food court. We went here based off the high google review while window shopping at beachwalk mall. It was a busy time when we got there Sunday evening. We asked for a table in the non-aircon area. The staff looked around and said sorry it’s full. I could clearly see an empty table that just had pile and pile of dirty dishes on it (clearly accumulated from all the other tables when they cleared them for other guests). I pointed at that table and asked “how about that one?” The waiting staff said “ok we will clean it” then disappeared. After a while and we could see no one was cleaning that table, we flagged another waitress walking past, asking for a table again. Again, we was told it was full, we pointed at the same table, asked, … a full circle of what happened earlier. This time the staff actually cleaned it, but it was an half-hearted effort. They cleared the dirty dishes, grabbed the wooden table mats, flapped them together so the leftover food drop on the ground. He then proceeded to grab a couple of tissues and kinda wiped down the water residue on the table. By the time we sat down, table stil had left over food, really dirty because it wasn’t cleaned properly, and the tablet mats were mouldy (probably from all the food and drink that got stuck on it that wasn’t cleaned properly). We were hungry, and we waited for a while for that table, so we decided to just suck it up and eat there. We were told there’s nothing left but duck. Fine. Crispy duck was dry, the duck betutu was better. We have had much better food here in Bali. It probably tasted worse after all the service...
Read moreWORST Service in Bali! I don't normally rate restaurants and understand there can be mess ups, but this place was so pathetic it warranted taking the time out to warn others. We went here because it was Halal and also to try the local cuisine, while checking out the Mall. The prices are on higher side, when comparing to rest of Bali. Yet the staff is least bothered about customers and actually shows it on their faces and the way they do nothing until asked thrice (for menu, ice for the room temp drinks they served, cutlery). The staff all look like its their first day waiting tables. We ordered 4 mains. The first (crispy duck) turned up around 30 minutes after ordering. I asked for the rest and the waiter looked indifferent and said coming. Over the NEXT 30 minutes I asked different waiters repeatedly where is the rest and each time, no one really cared but said preparing without appearing to check. With kids starving by then, I walked to the kitchen window and started asking. At that point, the order taker actually decides to ask the cook/chef where is the food. She checks her tickets and her expression shows she has no idea about the rest of the order...no preparing going! I was furious. Let them have it and asked for the bill. Shameless crooks still had the gall to add service charge to the bill! There was no manager, or if there was, wasn't anywhere to be seen. Stay away. This place doesn't deserve its location in an...

Ordered crispy fried duck and plecing kangkong as a side dish.
The fried duck was delicious. Extremely crispy and the spices used to marinate the duck was great. It was so crispy that even the smaller bones can be eaten. I enjoyed it with the sambal provided. The long bean that comes together with this dish is delicious. Creamy coconut taste that goes well with rice.
The plecing sambal was extremely spicy. Definitely worth a try.
Ordered an orange basil drink but it seems more like lime basil (drink is sour and green in colour). Great thirst quencher and neutralises some of the heat.
Service staffs not the most attentive and friendly but the food...
