Wish I could give lower than 1 star. I have no clue what has happened to this place, but our visit was disappointing to say the least. I’m not sure what was worse, the stuffy heat of the inside restaurant or the ‘owners’ (Italian dude) attitude to both customers and his staff. We were melting from the heat in this restaurant after sitting for at least 45 minutes for our entree (over an hour since we first arrived) when we asked for the aircon to be turned on or at least cooler and were told they could not be changed. Fine, we will deal. After having our entree it was still hot a hell so we asked the waiter (our angel of the evening) if we could leave the door open as the outside air and the slight breeze made things the tiniest bit better. This caused a battle of the wills with our lovely waiter and one of the waitresses who open and closed the door. We tried to tell her that the waiter left it open for a reason and she completely ignored us. My brother got up to open it again, so we could breathe when the rude owner nearly snatched the door handle and told us not to leave the door open. We tried to explain the situation when he essentially sneered and told us it was our fault for leaving the door open. Once again we tried to explain that we had been there for a while and it was just as bad when he flicked his hand and stormed off telling his staff to keep the door closed. Our waiter gave us an apologetic look which we appreciated and made sure he got a fat tip for his effort. Food was disappointing. Not sure what was in the arancini, but I never recalled (not read on the menu) bolognaise being mainly being peas and bacon… In short,...
Read moreOur family had a lovely dinner at Little Italy in Kuta, and it was a great experience overall. The seafood pizza was cooked beautifully with a thin, crisp base and light toppings—true to traditional Italian style. It wasn’t overloaded, but the flavours were fresh and well-balanced. The lasagna was rich and comforting, with a nice balance of meat and sauce, though slightly more tomato-forward than expected. The kids' menu was perfect for our little ones—simple, tasty, and served quickly. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure the kids were happy and settled. The restaurant is in a great location, right in the heart of Kuta, making it easy to find and ideal for a relaxed evening out. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy Italian vibe. Best of all, it was very well priced—great value for authentic Italian food in a tourist-friendly area. If you're looking for delicious, traditional Italian food in a convenient, family-friendly setting, Little Italy is a...
Read moreThe two of us were seated and got to order right away, but it took 1.5-2 hours to get served. When we tried asking our waitress about it, she just showed us her hand and walked away, and we didn’t see any more of here that evening. We tried asking someone else that worked there, and they said it was because the lasagna took longer (which we hadn’t been informed about earlier). We were hungry, but tried to be understanding of their situation, however, the restaurant was not full, and they kept taking more guests the entire evening. When the food finally was served, half of the lasagna was extremely cold, our new waiter was politely informed, but he didn’t say anything to this and walked away. There were no apologies or discount for the inconvenience. The gnocchi pasta was however fine, and it was a nice place, but more on the expensive side for...
