A Flavorful Experience at Jamie Oliver’s Kitchen in Bali with a Playful Twist My recent visit to Jamie Oliver’s Kitchen in Bali was nothing short of a culinary rollercoaster, full of delightful highs and a humorous low. We kicked off with summer rolls and tempura mushrooms, each dish a symphony of flavors and textures. The Sunshine Bowl was a particular gem, bursting with fresh, vibrant ingredients that danced on the palate. The kids’ menu was an unexpected star of the show. The burger was an instant favorite, perfectly cooked and nestled in a soft, chewy bun – a true delight for the little ones. The pizza, with its crusty base and harmonious toppings, was a joy in every bite. Then came the playful twist: the sweet potato fries. After four days of our three-year-old being a dedicated french fry connoisseur, these fries were a surprising flop. They were more like fried cardboard than the crispy treats we expected. Uncle Roger might say, “Jamie, hayyia - failure,” and he wouldn’t be wrong. But, in a funny turn of events, this was a blessing in disguise. Our little one, who had shunned everything but fries lately, finally gave them up and happily munched on the delicious burger instead. Overall, I’d still give Jamie Oliver’s Kitchen a resounding five stars. The mishap with the fries was a comical blip in an otherwise fantastic dining experience. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking a culinary adventure in Bali, with some unexpected fun thrown in.

I recently dined at Jamie Oliver Kitchen in Kuta, and I can confidently say it was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and stylish decor set the tone for an enjoyable meal. The food was simply extraordinary! Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, bursting with flavor and showcasing high-quality ingredients. The menu offered a fantastic variety, making it hard to choose, but everything we tried was delicious. The attention to detail in the preparation was evident, and it truly felt like a celebration of fresh, seasonal produce. The drinks complemented the meal perfectly, with a creative selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options that were refreshing and well-mixed. However, I did find the dessert to be a bit ordinary compared to the rest of the meal. While it was pleasant, it didn’t quite match the high standard set by the savory dishes. I was hoping for something a bit more inventive, given the overall excellence of the restaurant. Despite this minor drawback, Jamie Oliver Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone in Kuta looking for a fantastic dining experience. The combination of extraordinary food, delicious drinks, and a lively atmosphere makes it a standout choice. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu!

I gave 3 stars for its atmosphere and supposed to give 1 star for food and service. But I am not going to be that mean, and hope you guys can change it in the future. I dont know where to start. For someone who owns 3 Jamie Oliver cooking books…this is total disappointment. I ordered aglio olio pasta…the safest one. I was shocked when it came, it glued together as a sign of overcooked, and its true. Thats wasn’t pasta, but noodle, overcooked noodle 😭. The seasoning was fine, prawn is fresh and cooked well. The springroll veggies are hugh! Too many glass noodle and chopped veggies, just so sad. I could’nt taste the most important one which is cilantro. It seems they just want to make everything big and overcharge it. For the service, when I ask the waitress at front for the portion, she just said with gesture “this big”, and then I asked is it too big for 1 person? And she said “I don’t know” sheesh..you guys just attracted to foreign tourist, as I saw you communicate enthusiastic beyond compare to them, and just walk through pass me when i finished swallowing the “noodle” . But I am glad they didn’t ask me, as i was try so hard to finish your pasta. I am sorry I won’t comeback.

We were really looking forward to visiting Jamie Oliver’s kitchen but unfortunately didn’t live up to expectation. The restaurant itself was a nice place to sit and staff were friendly and helpful. We started had garlic bread which was very dry, boarder-line stale and didn’t have oozy mozzarella as described on the menu (we actually saw another table order the same thing and send it back to the kitchen), tempura mushrooms which were ok and chicken satay skew which was decent. For mains we had pizza which was as ok but only ok. The dough was a bit dense/heavy and the cheese felt like it had come out of the oven and sat on the pass for 10 minutes before being served. The cheesecake brownie for dessert was probably the highlight. The quality of food was probably what you expect in a tourist location such as Kuta Beach but with Jamie Oliver’s name headlining the restaurant we expected a high quality experience when it came to the food. With so many great food options available in the area we won’t be back here. * I would like the reiterate however that the service and staff were excellent.
