Coco Bistro Kuta Square — Restaurant in Kuta

Lantari the hostess was a joy from the get go! I sat on the street balcony and spent some time finding my feet as I had just arrived with very little sleep and some last minute things still to book. Quickly I found myself relaxing into it and enjoying the all day promo of "buy two local beers and get one free" despite the hustle and bustle of local traffic which really only added to the atmosphere along with the chilled out tunes playing in the background. Lantari, in her sing song voice was gently encouraging passers-by to come in and enjoy. I was only after a small amount to eat so had the Tom yum gong soup and chicken spring rolls. The soup was deliciously tangy and the rolls wonderfully crisp with well balanced sides of homemade sweet chilli sauce and acar (pickled vegetables). Arief the manager came to my rescue with a chuckle and some lemon slices after I had a run in with a piece of chilli in my soup. The restaurant itself is spacious and airy with very comfortable seating, a relaxed atmosphere, cheerful staff and good vibes. If you find yourself shopping in the nearby area and there is plenty to be had, I cannot recommend highly enough stopping by Coco...

I bought three meals at this restaurant and will be reviewing each:

Tom Yan Gong: So good! I can tell the chefs made their own Tom Yum spices. The acidity of the soup is perfect.

Chicken Spring Roll: Served hot, the plating is good, and the taste is delightful. The chicken filling portion is generous.

Carbonara: Contains pork (note for my Muslim friends, take caution!). The Carbonara sauce is creamy, and the pork topping portion is substantial. Overall, this dish is the best! ✨

Ice Lychee Tea: It’s a regular lychee tea but tastes good.

Orange Fresh Juice: I have selective food ingredient preferences and asked the staff whether the orange juice was organically pressed or from a box. The answer was, ‘We only serve fresh ingredients here, Miss.’ I knew then that I was going to love this restaurant—and yes, I’m in love.

My overall experience is a 9/10 :) The staff are very nice, and the place is clean.

This is by far the best Restaurant in Bali, pr at least in Kuta!!

I decided to dine here after reading the great reviews. The restaurant has cozy seating vibes and the staff are friendly.

The menu offers great variety of meat and seafood, as well as desserts.

I visited two times, and for both times we had the beef and chicken brisket, coco seafood platter and the tiramisu.

Each of those plates were freshly cooked and tasted so so good that I still crave for it even after leaving Bali.

The brisket was very crispy and juicy and it just melts in your mouth with smokey flavor.

The coco seafood platter was grilled squid, prawns, Mahi-mahi fish and vegetables with mashed potatoes..It was the first time trying the mahi mahi and was absolutely fantastic.

The tiramisu was also very good.

I would definitely recommend the place for anyone who wants to try some quality...
