Moo Moo's Steakhouse Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Kuta

I am not usually the type to write a bad review but tonight was just too much not to, When we arrived we were seated pretty much straight away which was great couldn’t fault that especially when it was so busy. My 3 major let downs are below 1- When being served the elderly lady seemed to have only served my partner and then said wait, walked off and never came back.. when I had turned she was serving other customers and must had listed down that my partner and I wanted the same drink as another waiter brought out two of what he wanted? 2- We were sitting close to another table and kept getting referred to as “Bill 3” however did not know these people at all and was abit annoying constantly having this happen throughout our dinner. 3- This is probably the worst part, After all of the above we finally sat down to order… My partner and I both ordered the same meal 2 medium rare Sterloin steaks with mash and then sauce. My partners steak was way over cooked there wasn’t much pink it it at all and my steak was completely undercooked making majority of it unedible (personally) and had to remove a lot of fat from this piece. I raise my concerns due to the fact I most likely will not return to MooMoos now which is unfortunate because my partner and I searched for “good steaks Perth” for about 45 minutes prior thinking about coming and we kept getting drawn back to MooMoos. Some may say “Why did you not send it back if you weren’t happy?” By the time I was done eating what I could I was ready to leave because it was not as if our money was valued and more that we were just a number. I hope no one else feels this way...

Walked past a few times and decided to give it a go. Impressive menu with a good range of dishes. My wife and I ordered oysters for entree both Kilpatrick. For mains we ordered steaks, hers a 200g Sirloin, mine a 300g Rump. Mine advertised as ‘Imported Aussie Outback Steak’ with fried egg and a rasher of bacon. My wife’s was also imported from Australia. We both ordered our usual medium rare. After an extremely long wait the oysters arrived. Big, fat and tasty but not kilpatrick. Yep they had bacon on top but a bbq ish tomato sauce with black pepper sprinkled on top. Definitely NOT Kilpatrick sauce. Not what we wanted but they were ok. When our steaks arrived they were cut very thin, usually done like that to make them less tough. Well it didn’t work. My steak was tough, chewy and barely warm when it arrived, as were the chips and the pepper sauce. My wife’s was a little warmer but also very tough and chewy. I’d be surprised if they were Australian as advertised. And they were rare at best. Probably the worst steaks I’ve had in a very very long time. Cold fried eggs are not very exciting. The menu boldly displays ‘All taxes and charges included in price’ “NO Plus plus” Great until you pay by card and get charged 3% on top. I put my card on the table expecting as normal for the eftpos machine to come out but no, my card was taken away and not returned with the receipt for close to 10 minutes even tho I asked other staff members for it to be returned. Not good on this age of card skimming and scams. We will not be be back, there are much better steaks and oysters nearby for a much more...
