Felt like stepping in paradise from the lobby to the room. We were welcomed by the Japanese lady who was very welcoming. Every single details there is so perfect and leave you an unforgettable experience all the way long, the setting and how things are build there really breathes Balinese culture. We booked via traveloka and trust me it was value for money, before we stayed in best western and did not feel that excitement. It is really peaceful and close to all the happenings. Staff are very polite and respectful, but just one thing that i did not really appreciate is that the staff is scared to clean your room on their own, you should tell me then they will do it. I think that staff should not let their enthusiasm and energy be brought down by negative comments of unfortunate guests who lost their belongings. I do believe most of you are honest and doing things genuinely. Rooms are very authentic but honestly the wifi sucks and it would be great if a small chiller could be place inside and a hair dryer. Coming to the breakfast i want to say Great job but can still can be improved. The coffee is excellent and nasi goreng very tasty also. The pool is simply amazing and the water very fresh and not so crowded so you can have some privacy.|Great job overall and hope to still have the opportunity to visit all of...
Read moreWe initially chose Kampung Cenik as the hotel looked and seemed totally different from all of the other large, generic feeling hotels in the area. Kampung Cenik is a small slice of Indonesian tranquility, it feels like a whole different place to Kuta which is a stones throw away. The small hotel has 9 rooms, all separate little homes with outside veranda, satellite TV, air con and a beautiful bathroom, ours with a large bath. |The decor is traditional and the gardens and pool area are absolutely beautiful and so well maintained. The real asset to this hotel though, is the staff. Every single member of the staff at Kampung Cenik have made our stay perfect, they have gone out of their way to help in any way they can, providing airport transfers, helping us source a reliable moped with surfboard holder and even making us a packed breakfast for when we planned an excursion very early in the morning. |I have never felt more cared for and more safe in a hotel than I have here at Kampung Cenik. If you are looking for a peaceful stay with a great location, look no further. This slice of clean, beautiful paradise will make you...
Read moreReally need to speak more about this place bcs it's really underrated.
Appreciate the concept of rumah Jawa (Paiton house) where you'll have your own foyer, wooden doors, Sokka roofs and plants and flowers surrounding you. Regardless, hardly no roaches, caterpillars nor lizards come in to the room even I left the door open several times.
The location itself is very strategic, a bit hidden from Sunset Road and Dewi Sri road so it's very quiet yet so many beaches or shopping / food centers are accessible; Krisna and Agung ( souvenirs center ) are nearby, there is also some laundry, warung in front of the hotel is 24 hours or Circle K is walking distance.
They offer nice amenities and complimentary though mind you that they don't offer slippers so bring your own. If you rent a motor / car, they offer also carpark. The pool is also clean and usable.
The staffs are very helpful, friendly and attentive. They helped me accepting my parcels first even before I check in into the hotel. Lastly they don't ask for a deposit.
Thank you team Kampung Cenik.
I'll recommend this place and definitely...
