What a great job they have done. They have really stepped up. They have moved the bar and kitchen from.out on the road to overlook the beach. The new menu is great. The brekkie is superb. Have the omlette or the big brekkie. Or the smoothie bowl for the healthy folk.Try the pizza, possibly the best on the island. The rooms are nice and clean. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a cocktail or cold beer and some great food . Staff are nice and friendly. It was much more attentive than when i was there last time . It's worth jumping on the boat if you are in Bali and really relaxing for a few days. Highly recommend. They have also added a great gym overlooking the ocean. Really good setup. All the equipment that you need. So, to add an update. They have closed the front bar and pool section and added a yoga and another gym. I am staying at the 3 Monkeys hotel and they rented me a bike that could have killed me. As soon as I turned out of the hotel onto the main road and went to brake, I quickly found that the back brakes were completely broken! Naturally, with only the front brakes working, the bike lost control and I slammed into a concrete shrine in front of the building across the street. I ended up in the local clinic with deep cuts and road burn. When I got back to the hotel, the management had the audacity to say that I would need to pay for damages to the bike that could have killed me. I had a feeling they would be shady and unscrupulous so as I was slowly bringing the bike back from across the street, I took a video which I have attached where you can see the back brakes are completely inoperable. A close friend and I had the pleasure of staying at 3 Monkeys Lembongan recently, for my birthday. To say we were treated like royalty would be an understatement. The level of personalised service we received was above and beyond. We were made to feel like we were the only travellers staying there. The meals we purchased from the resorts' restaurant were very tasty, large serves, and the dining section had a very relaxed ambience. The resort is in a stunning ocean front position and also an easy, enjoyable walk to all of the shops and restaurants on the main road. The sunsets you'll see whilst sitting on the huge rear deck with a glass of bubbly, are extraordinarily beautiful.
