PLS read before booking!!! This is going to be a review for the hotel. We stayed 4 night at this place and it was just BAD! I really don‘t know where to start...let‘s have list for all the things we didn‘t like at this place:
dirty rooms (Our mosquito-net was dirty and filled with dead bugs. When we asked for a new one the staff changed it instantly but they leave all dead bugs on the floor. There was dust and dirt on the window and on the mirror)
dangerous scooter rental (We asked the hotel for a scooter and got a damn destroyed scooter. This piece of sh** had no mirrors, the display was sprayed black so you couldn’t read the actual speed or fuel indicator. The engine stoped working while driving which is really dangerous when you are right in a corner. After 3h we want to drop off the scooter at the hotel and change it, but there was no staff. They arrived after 2 more hours. At the end of our stay they really want to charge us a hole day for this 3h horror ride. We didn‘t pay! Just go to one of the scooter rentals on the main street. They are cheaper and you‘ll get a new scooter.)
Wifi (The normal wifi is sooo slow. It‘s just unusable. We told it and got a special 4G repeater. Worked better but still slow)
Shower (The bathroom is sweet, but when you‘re showering keep in your mind that the water is very very salty. So you are not getting really clean.)
Staff (It‘s pretty hard to find someone if you have a question. There is no one except the restaurant staff and these guys can‘t speak english. The service at the restaurant is also very bad. I read about it before but it‘s really bad. You have to wait like 15 minutes for a waiter. When we forgot our mosquito-spray at the table and came back after 2 minutes the waiter used it and sprayed his whole body. The other thing is that the waiter steals money from the restaurant. Not our problem but I want to tell it. Just in case the owner reads this review. He deliberately forgot to write something on the bill and still charged it. He wrote it on a special sheet of paper to not forget it. But it‘s not on the official bill.)
Payment (I‘ve never had a hotel where I had to pay in advance. DO NOT DO THIS!!!)
Yoga (We chose the hotel because they offer yoga. But they didn't tell us in advance that there were no courses at the moment. Disappointed!)
Restaurant (The staff don‘t know what‘s included in the breakfast. You will get every day a other breakfast. You have to tell the staff what‘s included. And I had a bug in my fried rice! Disgusting!!!
MY ADVICE: PLEASE TAKE AN OTHER HOTEL!!! It was the worst hotel we‘ve had on our 6 month travel through...
Read moreOk so this place is a hotel (bungalows), restaurant and yoga. My review will incorporate all 3. Firstly the food is delicious. The breakfast smoothie bowls are delicious and healthy, and the avocado lover is most definitely recommended. People make the small walk here just for the restaurant. I stayed in the green garden bungalows for 2 nights and it was such a lovely comfortable stay. The bed is huge, the room has all needed amenities. The air con works perfectly. The bathroom is outdoors and is very pretty. Only issue I had was the water pressure during a shower cut out. I came back after a few minutes. The place is very new so there’s bound to be teething problems but these will soon be fixed and the place will get busy very quickly. The guy running the place is super helpful as were all the staff really. I did 2 yoga classes. The lady (Holly) who usually takes the classes was sick so we had 2 stand ins. The Australian girl from the Yoga Shack (which is fully recommended and preferred) was awesome but there was a different lady teaching vinyasa who usually does the ashtanga classes. I didn’t enjoy this as much as it didn’t really flow and felt disjointed. This was the feedback from most of the group too. Also, no music is played during class so if you prefer music then go to the yoga shack. It feels too quiet without music and flow should (IMO) be done to music. You will enjoy...
Read moreI was really excited to try this place and was left completely disappointed for the following reasons: -When we arrived the place seemed closed. It was dark, there was no ambience, no music, no customers and the staff were sitting together on their phones and chatting. We were not welcomed in a friendly way, seemed more like a hassle that we had shown up. -We ordered the tzatiki plate which was ok. The dip was nice flavour but very minimal for the amount of items to dip in and it seemed as though we got the end of the bag of corn chips as there were just the crushed up left overs on our plate. -I ordered tofu in my vegetable noodle soup and it came out with tempeh that was not cooked at all which tasted horrid. The soup tasted like dirty cabbage water and lacked any flavour whatsoever. I couldn't even eat it. -The quinoa salad was pretty bland and didn't taste like it had any dressing. Was also very small for 65,000 IDR. -Staff didn't seem to care that we were there, not one of them smiled once, there was no effort put into any of the dishes we ordered and we felt like we were intruding. -Comes up on Google as a vegan spot which it is not. There are maybe 3 or 4 vegan options...we had 2 of them and they were not great. I wouldn't come back or reccomend this place when there are many more restaurants with better food, better prices and...
