Sri Ratih Cottages — Hotel in Pulau Bali

A small simple beautiful garden cottages. She need not be located in town or in the center of Ubud to be beautiful. Located by road side, on the bend, of quite busy small street in the village of Penestanan Kelod a little out side of the village of Ubud. The Going to the center of the village of Ubud is near and easy with the available shuttle. The beautiful gerden is set in the middle area of the cottages with the pool is put in the most center while the rooms surround the garden and the pool. So in whichever side of the cottages you room is located your room is facing the green garden. The early before midnight flight arrival had made me to sent 2 French ladies of local travel company rather late close to morning 2 night a go to the cottages. Meeting them and arranged a short brief 1/2 day excursion today to Tegalalang and Tampaksiring had given me time with them on the tour that they said they liked and enjoyed it so much seeing the beautiful country side and Balinese temple they have never been before in their life. It seems that this cottage is popular amongts especially the European travelers and seeing and hearing the language they speak, some of the guests in the house, while I walked arround to take photos, in the pool, in the lobby and in the breakfast restaurant, they all mostly French by nationality. When I asked my 2 French ladies if they like it to stay in this cottage though they said it was not of their own chooise they said they like it so much. With the price being offered by some of hotel booking companies it seems that this cottage is really affordable by any European of walk of life. Really lovely stay at Sri Ratih. Stunning gardens surround the lovely rooms which are massive and really clean.|The pool area is really pretty with lots of sun loungers. They do an afternoon tea every day by the pool which was a sweet touch.|It would have been good if they had someone come out from time to time so we could order drinks, but it really wasn't a big deal to go to the bar.||Had an amazing massage while I was there, plus a complimentary head and shoulder massage.||Daily breakfast was really delicious with lots of choice of western and Balinese options. Coffee wasn't that great as it was just filter coffee. Would have been good to have a latte/cappuccino/ espresso as an option.|Fresh juice and beautiful fruit plate every morning.||The location was fantastic - very easy to walk down to the Main Street for restaurants and shopping, but set back off the street so it was quiet and you could get away from the crazy traffic.||Some great little warungs literally next door, and a convenience store over the road.||What made it really special was the beautiful staff - especially Desak on reception, and the turn down service every evening.
