A trip to Meguna Restaurant, let's just say it was pretty darn amazing! The thing that stood out the most? The staff. Seriously, these folks were like the friendliest ever. Super attentive and all-around nice, they made us feel right at home – and now we can't wait to go back!
Oh, and if you're looking for a chill spot to get some work done, this place totally nails it. The WiFi's solid, and the vibe is just perfect to get stuff accomplished without any hassle.
Now, here's the scoop on the grub: the drinks were a hit for sure, so many options to pick from. The food? Well, let's just say it was good, not mind-blowing, but totally did the job. And guess what? The prices are really friendly on the wallet, especially for a spot in the heart of Ubud.
Summing it up, Meguna Restaurant brings the good vibes, with a staff that's like your new bestie. While the food might not steal the show, everything else totally does. Big shoutout to the Meguna crew for making our time there so awesome! Can't wait to swing...

As a major foodie though, the flavours were just…alright. Good, but not special.
The Laksa curry with noodles I got wasn’t as flavourful as they usually are elsewhere.
It was a bit watery and lacked umami, broth goodness and some depth. A few small pieces of chicken and the majority of the dish were noodles. Not a filling meal for a hungry person, but with the cheap prices you can order other dishes for sure.

It was okay for the every day eater, but for for those who want delicious, rich, 5 star tasting meals— then I wouldn’t necessarily come here for taste.
But I would still check it out and judge for yourself because the prices are insanely cheap and the staff are very polite...
Read moreI'll start by saying that I loved it. Kasawa is the best we had on the island, wonderful flavor, crispy outside and soft inside pieces. Magical!!!

It was a disgusting dish, I can't tell you. Made a photo with arrow to show you the sauce, they called Bechamel...
There was something wrong with the quesadilla too. The filling did not stick to the dough at all, fell out, slipped off, as if it was in a raw egg. Do not violate the technology of dishes, or stop misleading customers, calling dishes known to all names, behind this popularity there are expectations of the client and you do...
