I had a lovely Indonesian dinner at Citrus Berry Ubud, stopping by without a booking. The staff were polite and initially concerned about seating me outside because of the weather, but it turned out to be perfectly fine. The view over the rice field was beautiful, adding a peaceful touch to the dining experience, and the decor was warm and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere overall.

However, the restaurant seemed overwhelmed by how busy it was. The staff were clearly doing their best but appeared to struggle with the number of guests. I noticed a couple of tables meant for four that had only one person seated, while others were turned away. It might help if they introduced more tables for solo diners or couples to make better use of space and accommodate demand.

The food was fine — enjoyable but not particularly memorable. Given how popular the restaurant seemed, I was expecting something a bit more special. The flavours were decent but lacked the depth or standout quality you find at other Indonesian spots in Ubud.
