Located in the heart of Ubud, this restaurant is a gem with its unique rice field views and captivating garden. The terrace seating, which offers a stunning view of the quaint garden, is an experience in itself. Every Wednesday, the ambiance becomes even more enchanting with live music, perfectly complemented by their delectable cocktails; their Amaretto Sour is truly legendary! The food pricing is reasonable, and the flavors are spot on. I delved into their classic Indonesian dishes, which struck the right balance of spice for a traveler like me. I appreciated their thoughtful touch of serving spicy sauces on the side in tiny jars, allowing one to adjust the heat as desired. I found myself returning multiple times, lured by their modern Indonesian dishes that never disappointed. Their Western menu is equally commendable, with the Spareribs standing out! As the night sets in, the garden transforms with hanging lamps, creating a magical atmosphere. A highlight for me is the prompt service paired with outstanding food quality. The walls adorned with Indonesian murals by a Balinese artist and the ultra-comfy couch overlooking the rice fields make it my favorite spot. Highly recommended for an authentic...

I had a lovely Indonesian dinner at Citrus Berry Ubud, stopping by without a booking. The staff were polite and initially concerned about seating me outside because of the weather, but it turned out to be perfectly fine. The view over the rice field was beautiful, adding a peaceful touch to the dining experience, and the decor was warm and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere overall.

However, the restaurant seemed overwhelmed by how busy it was. The staff were clearly doing their best but appeared to struggle with the number of guests. I noticed a couple of tables meant for four that had only one person seated, while others were turned away. It might help if they introduced more tables for solo diners or couples to make better use of space and accommodate demand.

The food was fine — enjoyable but not particularly memorable. Given how popular the restaurant seemed, I was expecting something a bit more special. The flavours were decent but lacked the depth or standout quality you find at other Indonesian spots in Ubud.

Overall, it’s a nice restaurant with a lovely view and friendly staff, but the experience felt a little chaotic. I’d recommend other places in Ubud for a better...

A small little shop off the busy street but definitely worth coming. Get the outdoor view outside if you can because it's magnificent. The service here is top notch. Staff is very nice, attentive and at least for us, very good English speaking. The food was delightful. Full of flavor, not overly salty and gives plenty of different contrasting textures. We got the beef option. I highly recommend the mango sticky rice to finish off your meal. Sweet, yes, but in a way that is easy on the pallet because of the mango sweetness combined with the coconut, glutenous rice and cool mango sorbet on top. 10/10 will come back and recommend.
