My mom and I had a meal here which was very tasty and fresh.

Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, I stumbled upon Warung Semesta, and it quickly became a favorite. Their GMO-free tempeh menu was not only tasty but also carries a cool, contemporary vibe.
The atmosphere is a perfect blend of comfort and vibrancy, setting the stage for a delightful culinary experience. Boasting an extensive menu, Warung Semesta caters to diverse tastes, offering local, Western, curry, and snack options.
The thoughtfully adorned interior and furniture add a touch of charm. Venture to the second floor, often peacefully empty, providing a serene dining space. The staff exudes friendliness, contributing to the overall warmth of the place.
Whether you're seated on the terrace surrounded by greenery or indulging in the tempeh burger, Warung Semesta offers a gastronomic retreat.
I'll be on the lookout for more photos to truly capture the essence of this...
Read moreI had the pleasure of taking a Balinese cooking class at Warung Semesta, and it was an unforgettable experience! Ayu, our teacher and chef, was simply top-notch. Her knowledge and passion for Balinese cuisine shone through every step of the class. We worked on a full-course vegetarian menu, learning to balance traditional flavors with fresh, local ingredients.
Ayu’s guidance was clear, hands-on, and fun. She made the entire process approachable, from preparing spices to cooking up delicious dishes. The setting at Warung Semesta was also perfect — authentic, relaxed, and surrounded by the beauty of Bali.
I highly recommend this class for anyone wanting to dive into Balinese vegetarian cuisine with a passionate and skilled chef like Ayu. It was one of the highlights of my trip!
PS. They even included a detailed recipe book for each attendant so that we can share the amazing balinese food...
