Tablespoon Ubud — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

If I could give this restaurant an infinite amount of stars, I would. I was celebrating a milestone birthday just over a month ago, in February 2025. I simply wanted to reserve enough space for a large party of approximately 15 people. Tablespoon FARRRRR exceeded my expectations. They were extremely proactive, hospitable, and kind. They put a lot of time and detail into planning my pre-birthday dinner. The constant communication and request for particular details started to feel overwhelming UNTIL I realized how much effort and detail they put into my pre-birthday dinner. They even went above and beyond by offering us a pre-dinner tour. From the moment my guests and I arrived, our hostess went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and took great care of us. She was extremely thoughtful, kind, and she went above and beyond. For example, she literally escorted me up the stairs as I struggled to ascend the stairs to the roof top. Speaking of. The roof top dining experience was BREATH TAKING! In addition to that, they went above and beyond in getting all of our orders correct and dinner was served with great efficiency. One of the things I REALLY loved about this restaurant is that it has a very diverse menu. There is literally something for everyone in their menu, including and especially for vegans and vegetarians. The ambiance and the music were perfect, and they ended the evening by surprising me with a birthday cake and capturing my event by video (after first asking me for my permission). I loved this restaurant and had my dinners at Table Spoon. The environment is very pleasant, with high-quality live music and a very friendly staff. I received excellent service every time I went there. The food is outstanding; every dish I tried was delicious. The food was so delicious that even with many other restaurants around, I kept coming back to this one.

The chicken parmi was one of the best I've ever had, and I also tried the seafood pizza, a seafood nasi, a chicken dish with salad and eggs (whose name I can't recall), the house sushi, nachos, and enjoyed some drinks. Everything was excellent.

One day, I went to the kitchen to thank and congratulate the chefs because they truly deserve it. The atmosphere there is joyful, as they work with smiles on their faces, and that happiness translates into the flavor of the food. That's when I met Chef Kadek Widana, who is friendly, happy, and an awesome chef. He was grateful for my visit to the kitchen and I truly appreciated his work and the work of everyone there.

I would definitely come back if I had the chance, on a future visit to Ubud. It was wonderful to have experienced this place, and I'm delighted to share that my experience was fantastic. Congratulations to the managers and especially to the staff for making my evenings...

I stumbled upon Tablespoon while me and my friend were searching for a good restaurant around Ubud area where we could celebrate the bachelorette of our other friend. I booked it way ahead of time just to make sure since we’re not from Bali. I checked their website and I was definitely delighted to experience dining in at Tablespoon. The person I talked to through Whatsapp was very accommodating and engaging. I quickly made a reservation. It was a very smooth process! Months later, the days were fast approaching for us to visit Bali. I reminded them regarding our reservation and they immdiately responded all of my additional queries. On the big day, when we arrived there, we were greeted by the staff immediately and we began to explore the restaurant. We also met Cika, whom I was talking to through Whatsapp. She really made an effort to tour us around the restaurant. Dinner was amazing! Our food was super delicious and well-prepared! Thanks to Ayu who really took care of us for the entire dinner experience. They really prepared the set well which my friend super loved it. I would thank again the people behind that wonderful experience. Overall, the place is highly recommended and I’m hoping that we’ll back soon and stay for a longer time!...
