This place has that old Indonesian-Chinese restaurant vibes with simple design and great comfort food.

We ordered their bakso goreng, and asked for one more serving.. and didn't even take pics because they were really, really good.

Pro tips: add some chili sauce to your bakso goreng, or ask for some of their noodle soup and dump your bakso goreng into the soup + add the chili sauce. The combination is just perfection in a bowl!!

They also have other food like bakmoy, noodles, bakso tahu, and some other things. The bakmoy was okay--not bad but...

Food ⭐⭐⭐ Famous bakso restaurant in Jogja, restaurant looks old and not properly maintained. Bakso sapi is chewy in a good way, have a unique texture compare to other bakso seller. Their best dish for me it's the Bakso goreng, the rest is quite normal. Soup base is almost like water with salt and MSG only.

Ambience ⭐⭐ Gloomy lighting, make the dining experience not enjoyable.

Cleanliness ⭐⭐ Table a bit sticky and dirty.

Service ⭐⭐⭐ Quick and easy.

It has always been my nostalgic-comfort-meatball place in the center of Jogja!

My most fav menu: Tahu bak ⭐⭐⭐ (hands down, nothing beats this beancurd meatball) Bakso goreng ⭐⭐⭐ (I like to request to separate the fried meatball with the soup, to retain the crispiness) Lumpia goreng ⭐⭐ ⭐ (Though I prefer Semarang-style bamboo shoots lumpia, this is also good, just in different style)
