A Case of "What Could Have Been" - Great Food, Abysmal Service
⭐️⭐️ (Two Stars)
It truly pains me to write this review because the food at Ariana BBQ Grill is genuinely delicious. The kebabs are perfectly seasoned and juicy, the rice is fragrant, and the bread is fresh. From a culinary standpoint, they have the potential to be a top-tier spot.
However, a great meal is about more than just the food on the plate; it's about the entire experience. And unfortunately, the experience here is consistently, frustratingly poor.
The Core Problems:
· Chronic Order Errors: I have visited multiple times, and there is always something missing from our order. Forgotten side of yogurt? Check. No utensils or napkins? Check. Missing a drink we paid for? Check. It's not a one-off mistake; it's a pattern that shows a complete lack of a checking system. · Unprofessional & Unhelpful Staff: When you try to politely point out a missing item, the staff is unapologetic and unhelpful. They often seem annoyed by the inconvenience you are causing them by expecting the order you paid for. There is no sense of customer care or a desire to fix the problem quickly. · Total Disorganization: The chaos behind the counter is palpable. There seems to be no clear system for managing orders, leading to long waits even when it's not busy, and orders being mixed up.
Final Verdict:
Having good food is the foundation of a restaurant, but it's not the whole building. The complete lack of organization and unprofessional staff make every visit a stressful gamble. You leave not satisfied by the great flavors, but frustrated by the hassle.
To the Management: You have a gem in your kitchen. Please, for the sake of your business, invest in training your staff and implement a simple order-checking system. Until then, I cannot recommend Ariana BBQ Grill to anyone who values a smooth, pleasant dining experience. I really hope you can turn...

Just had an incredible dining experience at Ariana Restaurant, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. This newly opened Afghan spot is already setting the bar high with its mouthwatering selection of kebabs—donor, shish, and kofta—that are grilled to perfection. The flavors are rich, authentic, and clearly made with fresh, wholesome ingredients. You can taste the care that goes into every bite.
Their dinner plates are just as impressive—don’t miss the peri peri chicken or the grilled steak. Portions are generous, beautifully presented, and ideal for sharing with friends or family. The food comes out family-style, making it the perfect place for group dinners without breaking the bank. Prices are very reasonable—noticeably lower than similar places in the area—and yet there’s zero compromise on quality.
What makes Ariana even more special is the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner, Safi, is always around, making sure guests are taken care of with genuine hospitality. His personal attention really adds to the experience.
If you’re looking for flavorful, authentic Afghan food at great value, Ariana Restaurant should be your next stop. Trust me—get in there and thank me later. Try the kebabs or a rice plate with chicken… you’ll be coming...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience with this business. The customer service is extremely poor, especially if you are not Irish or Afghan. Staff are dismissive and unhelpful.
What is even more concerning is their practice of charging deposits on drinks in a way that feels dishonest. For example, they serve certain drinks in glasses that do not carry any official deposit, yet they still add 15 cents per drink as a “deposit.” When questioned, they brushed it off with: “It’s only 15 cents, it doesn’t matter.” This is not only dismissive but also feels like a scam, as deposits should only apply where legally required.
Most customers don’t even take the cans or bottles with them, meaning the business pockets the extra charge. This practice seems unfair and possibly illegal, and it’s very disappointing that they are allowed to continue with it.
I would strongly caution others to be aware of this before spending...
