I visited this cafe and was hoping to have really good chai - unfortunately the staff explained to me that they only use their home made chai concentrate, instead of freshly brewed loose leaf chai. There wasn’t a lot of customers when we visited, but the staff seemed pretty frazzled and took a while to serve us. We had to clean our own table. Even though the service was slow the staff members did seem friendly however. Very pleasantly surprised by the coffee! We loved the Christmas blend. Food wise, the blondie was delicious but the slice was way too thin! Unfortunately didn’t take a photo of this - it looked like the other photo of a thin slice of cake in the review. Sandwiches were average, nothing too amazing but nothing to criticize either. The atmosphere was amazing! Seemed like a really good place to catch up with friends. Overall I’d just like to suggest adding loose leaf chai to the menu, especially when you already have so many wonderful loose leaf teas on display.

My favorite tea place in Dublin. I drink their tea every morning. The staff are so kind, and the dessert portions are generous.

I visited this cafĂ© on Sunday and ordered an Americano and the chorizo and egg omelet. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't as pleasant as expected. The sourdough bread was hard, and the butter was served in a messy little bowl. What concerned me most was that the staff, without wearing any hygiene gloves, took orders and then handled the bread and food directly. This cafĂ© has a great reputation, especially for its tea selection, which likely explains why it's always busy. However, the staff seemed visibly tired, and service felt rushed. I was asked what I wanted to order immediately upon sitting, with no chance to settle in. The table hadn’t been cleaned quickly, and when I tried to sit down before ordering, I was told I couldn’t do so until I had placed my order—quite an impressive approach to service that day. Despite the disappointing service, the atmosphere remains cozy and unchanged since my first visit back in 2013.

I have visited here a lot over the last few months and am always so happy with the experience. The Product on offer is excellent quality, and its consistent. I eat here too often and am always content leaving, never feel bloated as the use good simple ingredients, and everything is NOT covered in sauce which seems to be a trend now.. It is also such a great place to come alone too, so relaxing to read or work. They have a Garden out back, which is like an oasis of calm. A special mention of the owner(s) , one of them (tall guy) who is always nice to the staff but at the same time you can see he has high standards and insists on them in a clear and appropriate manner. This is obviously what has made the place great, or in fact any business great, along with the Staff who seem to get it too, that it’s a cafĂ© about the overall experience, that quality matters. I wish he would run a course for some other cafes!. Visit early or mid morning for best experience as it can get busy...

This place has some strange vibes, it was clear that the baristas we stressed out when this tall guy was around. Must be the owner or something. I didn't feel like staying too long.

edit: I believe it was the owner or something, a new one doesn’t gives orders like that :). And no I am not talking about a new employee suggested by the owner in response to my first review (Btw how mean to put it on someon else). I recently saw this new member of the team when I was passing in front of the cafe, and I can assure the man I believe to be the owner was looking completely different. I'm or used to be a client

Edit 2: I know it’s a tricky thing to understand, but it is not because I left a review on a specific date, that I was there the same day 😂 I regularly pass in front of your shop. Also, mister owner, I know it was you, I met someone that worked for you and confirmed it was you. For anyone working or willing to do so, be careful. This doesn’t look like a healthy working...

I've recently taken over the management of the cafe, and I'm really happy that the recent changes and experiments we've made on house made products are being a real success. We have been giving careful attention to dietary restrictions, with excellent options of vegan food, with cakes and sandwiches. My mom has been remotely influencing a lot on new recipes development - she is a great cook - and we can see and taste really cool stuff on display. On top of that, we've got a very like minded and talented team of cherrypicked people that are passionate about food, coffee, and teas, and will happily offer you advice on the freshest cake out of the oven, or the best tea option for a gift, or the best price deal for your favorite blend. Besides, the wide range of tea options and flavoured coffees is an unique experience by itself. Specially for those fond of high quality teas with fair prices. If you're considering visiting us and love a freebie, go before 10am and you'll...
