Discovered this gem while on my first night of vacation with my dad. So glad we did! We did not have a reservation but were able to be seated right away. We got the last free table. Everything else booked. Knowing that I would definitely make a reservation next time. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was lovely and delicious. We started with the Fried Squid appetizer. The coating was not overwhelming as some places can be. It it was very light and just enough. My dad have the Cioppino which I think might be one of the best that I've had. The broth was incredible. My only call out here was that a nice piece of crusty bread would have been good at the end to soak up the rest of it. Or maybe a straw! 😆 it was so good! I could just live off of that. The shellfish was so fresh, you could literally taste the ocean. I had the Pan Seared Seabass. Divine. It was perfectly seared with crispy skin. The fish was light and flaky. I was given three pieces of fish that I couldn't even finish. I tried though! It came with a roasted red pepper, olive and caper remoulade which was a good accent to the dish. It was also served with baby potatoes, which were good, but I was too focused on the fish and my dad's cioppino! On another note, there was also some roasted fennel on top of the seabass, really really good. Overall, I highly...

We had a business lunch at the Canal Bank Cafe and it did not disappoint. The menu offers a good range and selection of items such to satisfy all customers, vegetarian and not. We had a large wings to share; the portion was perfect for 3, wings were properly cooked and served with blue cheese dip.

For mains we went for chargrilled beef burgers and a sandwich. The staff timed everything nicely and we did not have to wait much between the wings and our mains.

The burgers were cooked as ordered and served with a side of salad, sliced tomato and fries. The burger was tasty, juicy and with a good texture along with the characteristic flavor of charcoal. I’d have added a pinch of salt but that’s very subjective. The bun was gently toasted and fresh.

The fries were awesome, hot, crispy and not...

Gosh the food is to die for, everything on the plate has its own flavor, ( rare now a days) We both ordered the burger, their burgers case delish, tasting of a lovely charcoal NOT burnt, real meat no fillers, so meaty and a lovely salad, we had a choice of chips or fancy roasted new potato. Then, even tho we were very satisfied under we did IT....we had deserts OMG I had Pekin, black cherry cake, pekin ice cream and a dolep of cream......it was light, it was moist, it was out of this world delishe's mouthwatering if I had room I'd have shouted more more more. But alas I could not move.

Oh yes my friend had, hot fudge, and chocklet, ice cream Sunday, we, nither of us wanted to share even a taste. We had fun, we were not rushed out even tho they had a full house. The staff were...

This cafe is a little haven of comfort. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for any day of the week. With a menu that's more extensive than your average cafe, there are plenty of delicious options to choose from. The staff is incredibly kind and quick to serve, and everything from the clean restrooms to the comfortable seating shows the care they put into the place. The food quality is excellent; even though my eggs weren't quite as runny as I'd hoped. The best part? The abundance of natural light from the many windows, creating a bright and secure space to unwind.
