Do not under any circumstances go here if you have any food allergies. A group of ten of us were attending a family occasion and my neice who is 17 had allergies to egg and sesame which require her to carry an epipen at all times. My sister contacted the restaurant twice before our booking to alert them to the allergy and check that they could accommodate and was assured twice that it was no problem, she would of course be looked after and staff would be made aware. On arrival my sister made herself known to the waitress explained about my neices allergy and she said yes she was aware and handed her the full list of allergens for the set menu to choose from. The options she chose had absolutely no mention of listing of any sesame whatsoever so we thought all was fine.

When the main dishes arrived it was served with extras of bowls of carrots, broccoli and green beans all completely covered in sesame seeds - firstly at no point was this mentioned on the menu at all and secondly the server was made aware on arrival of our tables requirements and yet still brought them to the table - there was also chips but we were concerned that if they got this simple thing wrong then how could we trust the chips were not cooked in sesame contaminated oil.

The desserts then arrive, my neice got the vegan apple pie on arrival it had what looked like granola on top - again this was not listed on the menu so my sister asked again to see the allergen list and it no mention of sesame or any seed for that matter. My niece took one bite and immediately got anxious as she spotted what looked like a sesame seed on her plate we called over the server and he went to check with the chef and when he came back he immediately lifted the plates so my sister asked is it sesame and he said no it’s a seed mix but it shouldn’t be on her plate and said he could bring a fresh one but we had lost all faith in their ability to provide a safe meal.

My sister did not want to cause a big scene as it was a celebration for someone else so quietly went to the manager after the meal - he knew what had happened yet did not approach the table once to make himself known or apologise and then asked if we would come to the bar for a round of drinks on them as a way of making it up to them or a bottle of Prosecco - so this is the price they put on a life of a 17 year old girl they put at risk. It was a huge thing for her to come out for the meal because she was in hospital last year for two days after a reaction, my sister checked twice beforehand, made the server aware on arrival, checked the menu twice and yet this still happened. Absolute disgrace, they have been reported to the food safety authority and I really hope there is serious consequences for them, my neice who was already nervous enough eating anywhere outside of home is...

Unfortunately our stay in this hotel was rather unpleasant. We had requested a quiet room pre-arrival and when we arrived, we were given the key to room 25 on the 3rd floor. The hotel is a bit of a maze so it was tricky to find the room. When we found it, it was at the end of a corridor, outside the main room areas and right next to a very noisy alarm system which could be heard quite clearly from the room. Additionally there was visible dirt in the room. We called the reception to request a room change and the lone receptionist offered to investigate the issue. She came to the room to listen to noise and stated they never had a complaint before and said she would try to find another room. She came back later saying no other suitable room was available, and she could organise something for the next day. That same night as we were dreading going to sleep, we saw busloads of Google employees arriving for an office party. That party went on until after midnight adding to our noise trouble. The next morning after discussing the room change with another employee, we left the premises for 5 hours. Upon our return we were given keys to a new room on a higher floor for us to transfer ourselves into. Upon arrival into the new room we were surprised to notice it had not been cleaned and smelled horribly. We returned to the reception only to be told that we had been given the room keys only for us to move our luggage so our first room could be freed and cleaned. We inquired about where we should stay given that the second room was dirty and we were told to take a little walk. We did not think this was fair (to be paying for a room and not be able to occupy any) so we complained and were told we could stay in the first room until the second one was ready. When we asked when that might be the receptionist did not know. She could not prioritise cleaning our new room. It took 3 hours.

Finally, this hotel turns out is also a full blown club at the weekend. With unacceptable noise levels for anyone wanting to rest (not even talking about sleeping). Really unless you are there to party until 4 am do yourself a favor and do not go there.

It's clear that this place focuses way more on it's party business and has no interest in providing respite to travellers. They have no understanding of customer service and making guests happy does not seem to be their concern.

Worst experience ever!

We booked our table for 3 at 10:45am more than a week before. When we arrived at the venue, a staff asked us if we have a reservation. She said she's going to look into it then left and never came back. A different guy then came to us and ask us again if we have a reservation. Finally, he brought us to "the garden" and brought us to an unmade two tables with just 2 chairs in it. He turned on the heating then leaves without even fixing the other crooked chair. After a few minutes, another staff came with the utensils, menu, and a pitcher of water with no glasses asking us if it is our first time there. We said it is and she said "What? Do you guys know that this is a "Celebrity Place"? We said we dont care about celebrities, we just want our food then she left. And then came the rudest staff asking for our orders. I asked her if we can still wait for a few minutes because our other friend is still parking her car. She then said "just to let you know that the kitchen is closing at 11." So we placed our orders then she left. When she came back with our coffee, we asked her why are we thrown outside when clearly there are some tables inside. She then said "we're full and very busy. If you want you can sit on the bar." We asked her if she can turn off the heating as it was very hot and it was right above our table. She said are you sure? Then said ok i will turn off then left. Then our order came brought in by the staff who brought in the menu. She placed the plates on our table and the last one was just lazily placed in the middle of the two tables and said enjoy and left. When our friend arrived, we then we asked for the manager who came to us and explained that they had a lot of walk ins and it was their fault. He apologized and said that he will talk to the staff. When the two staff came back after at different times, they were very nice and all smiley. They gave us 3 cups of coffee as an apology. Food was good but NEVER EVER...

I came here for dinner at the behest of my employer, Deloitte on Friday 6 May 2022 and I nearly dismissed the place by virtue of its outside appearance. But as soon as I walked in I fell, not in a literal sense, I fell on my knees. The place is Wow. Out of this world. A heaven on earth. It’s clean and the customer service is impeccable. It’s organised, classic and it’s the best place one can ever be. Not only in Dublin but the entire Isle of Ireland. I was truly mesmerised not by the food, not by the low and soft music, but by the customer service and cleanliness which extends to the bathrooms and everywhere. It’s a classy place. One to go for family, work unions, dinner’s and any other thing basically and not forgetting dates. It accommodates everyone, every theme and every event. Never had I been to a place where waiters and waitresses made me feel like a King. Where waiters and waitresses trip over themselves to serve me and were ready to go overboard. I’d surely come here again and again and every day of the week and twice on a Sunday. Until the stars stop shining. In me, they have won a loyal client. I hope to stop by soon. I encourage you all to pass by this place and have a good memory to share. To the gentleman who not only served us but ensured we had everything whenever we needed it and at such a speed of lighting thank you and thank you. I truly enjoyed my dinner. 5 stars isn’t enough though the technology is limited to 5 stars, but my experience far exceeds 5 stars. I give them a million stars ✨ ⭐️ 🌟 🌟. Thank you and Thank you, Thank you.
