Collins Club — Restaurant in Dublin

I wanted to be able to give this gorgeous club 5 stars but I cannot. Let’s start with the positives- It’s stunning! The ambience and decor is amazing and very chic. The pianist playing the baby grand added to the relaxed vibe, able to listen and have conversation with your group. The white coat servers added a touch of elegance. The drink menu was diverse and our first round of speciality drinks were delicious. This is where the experience went down hill quickly… the service was horrible! In every aspect of service I would give it a 1 star. When we were finally able to order food, the order was wrong- which was a shame because the meal we did get was AMAZING- 5 stars for the burger! And unfortunately the service continued to be non existent. So much so we ended our evening early and we asked to speak with the manager of the property. Waiters were incredibly rude. Was rushing us from the moment we sat down at our table. Table wasn’t even ready for us when we got there. Man on the phone was very passive aggressive and rude.Waiters Cut us off anytime we had questions about the menu. We were even told we couldn’t split the bill but I know this is false and was told to us because the waiter just wanted us to leave. I forgot one of my birthday presents and jacket on the table and turned back to ask the waiters for it and the 1st time I asked they said they didn’t see it and it’s too late for me to ask them as they already cleaned my table, I then asked them once again and one of the waiters said they had thrown my present in the bin and that my jacket was in the back. A popular spot for locals and visitors alike; book ahead for the weekends. Awash in warm light, the Collins Club buzzes with conversation and tunes from a live DJ on weekend evenings, but the baby grand piano in the corner hints that its personality may change by day.

The other corner of the bar is home to an array of machines that allow CC's award-winning team to re-distill and infuse spirits for their carefully crafted and delicious cocktails. I enjoyed everything, but the rhubarb gimlet and padron pepper margarita were standouts.
