Where to begin… If you care about service, basic standards and attention to detail I would not stay here. Firstly, there is no parking consideration for guests whatsoever. The options are paid meter on-street parking or the NEAREST car park 15 minutes walk and shlep your bags here yourself. They simply don’t care about your arrival or departure situation. Check in lacks absolutely everything you might expect from a luxury establishment. Staff simply don’t care. The rooms are not just small, but so small they are actually not functional or comfortable and at “5 star” level are just unacceptable. Climbing over furniture to open and close your blind. God forbid you have a twin room because good luck with that! 4 bottles of full size gin beside your bed, but no water. Had to go and get 3 new sets of keys in 2 days. Hallways smell stale and like sewerage. Not even a water glass for your toothbrush. Shower doors open inwards so you have to sidestep out of the shower. Electric loo’s open and close and make noise all night. Reception staff not trained adequately at all and will tell you they are “new”. Breakfast staff even worse. Both mornings we were not asked for a room number and then presented with a bill and questioned when we said we had breakfast included and were not paying. Management stood around and did little to nothing throughout. Other guests having the same problems. Breakfast staff completely unqualified and care so little about the customer, it’s appalling. Food orders wrong both days and overall completely shocking. I could go on and on. Although this is a new hotel, there is no excuse as this is a Press Up hotel, who own half of Dublins restaurants and hotels now. But then again Press Up tend to open hotels, pour millions into interior design to get your attention and then invest nothing into food, service, practicality and standards. A faceless company, who care ONLY about profit and nothing more. I tend to avoid all Press Up venues but it was unavoidable in this situation. If this hotel was accredited 4 stars, I wouldn’t take as much issue with it. The only positive from this hotel is that dinner at Jean Georges restaurant was excellent and staff and food were genuinely superb. Beyond that - avoid this hotel and I would suggest avoiding ALL Press Up establishments at this stage....

We had an unforgettable Valentine’s weekend getaway at The Leinster Hotel, and from the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. Having dined at Jean Georges before, we already knew the hotel had an exceptional standard, but this was our first time staying—and it absolutely exceeded our expectations.
The room was stunning, the large windows afforded us a view down Mount Street with its mid-century modern design and colorful details that made it feel both stylish and inviting. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the little luxuries, from the generously stocked mini-bar alongside premium Irish brand spirits—Gin, Whiskey, and Vodka—to the futuristic ToTo Japanese toilet, which added an unexpected touch of novelty and amusement. The large in-room screen was perfect for a late-night movie together, making our stay feel even more special.
A special thank you to Mara Rodriguez, whose warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. She went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay and is truly a perfect fit for her role.
Our romantic dinner at Jean Georges was another highlight. The intimate setting, flawless service, and exceptional food made it a perfect experience. The Thai Coconut soup and Tuna Tartare were delicious starters, followed by beautifully prepared Duck and Steak. But the real star of the night was the Pavlova—an absolute masterpiece.
After dinner, we enjoyed complimentary cocktails in The Collins Club bar on the ground floor, which was a lovely touch. The contemporary and relaxed ambiance set the tone for the evening, and the unique cocktails were absolutely delicious.
Every little detail, from the warm welcome to the carefully curated in-room amenities, contributed to an experience that felt personal and luxurious. The Leinster Hotel is truly a gem, and we can’t...
Read moreI am Munster through and through but loving the Leinster! As far as welcomes go this was up there with the best . 2 very friendly ladies, and Martin greeted us in a way every hotel should adhere to. Along with being extremely friendly, they were very informative about the hotel and its facilities. We were shown to our room and I have to say one of the funkiest I have ever been in , even the corridors around the hotel just exube cool. There are a lot of quirky features and the room had all we needed for our stay. Now to the bar , do not stay here and not visit the bar , one of the coolest places I have been in a while , decor , staff and of course their incredible cocktails . They are very understated , but when you taste them you instantly understand how their cocktail lab works , and how their head mixologist operates , freshly squeezed fruit is used in all cocktails and how they achieved some flavors is genuinely a science . A particular shout out to our server Jam , apologies if I got the name wrong , he told us he was from turkey and he is an absolute gem to this establishment, there is nothing he doesn’t know , gave superb recommendations and also a couple of delicious tasters . I would love to visit here on a weekend nignt when they have a dj ,or a Thursday when they have a piano player. We went to the rooftop restaurant which again was sublime , great service and excellent food in a beautiful setting. We retired to enjoy our room and have a great nights sleep. There are a few quirky things for sure, but overall I think it adds to the experience ,and I had a really great hotel stay from...
