Everything was burned, unfortunately the manager was argumentative when I was unhappy with my "medium rare" steak, making a poor experience truly embarrasing. He stood over me and asked how the steak was after I had to send the first one back when I explained it still was over done he said "no it's not everyone in the kitchen agrees this is nearly blue" (the pictures attached is the 2nd steak) I'm sure everyone outside the kitchen will agree it most definitely was not nearly blue never mind mid-rear, like I asked it to be. To add insult to injury when the bill came they had changed for the steak even though I could not eat it. I had to explain to the poor waitress that I would not be paying for it. I paid the rest of the bill and left with a bad taste in my mouth. The last picture is there version of caramelised onion.

During my stay at the College Green Hotel, I had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Morelands Grill. The experience was fantastic, with a wide variety of options, including scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, mushrooms, pastries, cereals, and yogurts. The seating area was comfortable and inviting, and the food was excellent. They also offer a customizable menu, allowing guests to order specific dishes to their preference. The staff was exceptional, providing great service and making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a highly recommended breakfast spot!

Beautiful restaurant with very chic décor. Staff were very impressive and attentive throughout the meal. Very quiet on a Monday evening but given things are just beginning to open up again this is not a big surprise. Food was served super quickly, we were in and out after a three course meal in just over an hour. Unheard of really. The food was very nice, well presented, adequate portions and included some very interesting ingredient combos. Very pleasant place to have an evening meal out in Dublin City centre.

What a wonderful restaurant this is! We stopped in for lunch and we couldn't have had a more enjoyable meal.

The food was very good, the prices were reasonable and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and their service was impeccable. I have never eaten in an establishment where the staff was as attentive as they are here at Moreland Grill!

The most interesting thing I experienced here was when I ordered a hamburger to be cooked medium-rare. The server took my order but gave me a puzzling look. A few minutes later, the server returned to apologize because it wasn't possible to serve me a medium-rare hamburger as it is against the law. I was very surprised. I asked if I could accept full responsibility for any subsequent issues associated with eating a medium-rare hamburger, served by them. The straightforward answer was, no. I wasn’t aware of the law prohibiting any ground beef to be cooked less than medium but I understood the rationale behind the law.

They asked me if I would like a hamburger cooked medium, as it was the best they could do to meet my hamburger order or, I could look at the menu and change my order. I opted to have the hamburger cooked medium. After the food was served, the manager came to our table and provided me with a heartfelt apology for not being able to provide my lunch as ordered. She asked me if my hamburger was acceptable or did I want to send it back and order something else.

I decided to keep the hamburger and give it a try. I’m very glad that I did, the hamburger was delicious. I don’t know why but the medium hamburger in Ireland tasted better than any medium hamburger that I can get at home in the US. Maybe it’s the beef, maybe it's what the cattle eat, maybe it’s the chef and his hamburger recipe, I don’t know but it was very tasty and I wouldn’t have hesitated to order a medium hamburger again, while I continued my visit to Ireland.

The thing that was most impressive to me was the care and concern that was manifested by the staff, from the server to the manager, for trying to provide the customer what the customer wanted. I have never experienced customer service as exquisite as what I experienced here. If they are willing to go to such great lengths to satisfy a customers hamburger order, can you imagine the service you would receive if you were to order a steak dinner. You should stop in and see for yourself. I believe you will be very glad that you did.

Thank you Moreland Grill staff members, you are the very best at what you do. Please keep up...

Breakfast is so lovely here. We have been dining for breakfast all week, Juri, the waiter has taken great care of us. The food (especially the pastries, soda bread and poached eggs) is delicious. The dining room is pretty and the music is nice. For breakfast 5 stars with appreciation for the good service.

For dinner, so DISAPPOINTED! I am giving one star for dinner service. The steaks were rare (instead of medium rare) and bloody. The mashed potatoes were wildly under-seasoned. Last, the wine tasted like it was a bottle opened weeks earlier - yuck. The food was edible but as you see, had issues. But the service was terrible! Our meals were brought out with no word and we had to request steak knives even though our entire meal was steak (36 Euros). My husband refilled my water because the waiter did not deliver our food or check on how it was until we requested the check. While we ate, we could have had excellent service, we counted 8 people working in the dining room with less than 18 eating. Unfortunately the staff was busy putting out the breakfast settings and dishes. It felt tacky. Just too expensive of a meal to feel like we can eat while the set up for...

This place has the slowest service. From breakfast to dinner, the server(s) will chat and walk right past you. I have to get the manager to come and take care of us. There was one girl which is particularly bad. I think she carry a discrimination attitude. Although the food is ok but the service is unbearable.

This is a upscale Westin that charge over 500 euro per night. They want to be an upscale hotel, then they should really retrain the staff to be more attentive and no attitude. The reason why I will choose Mandarin Oriental where available is to avoid these kind of terrible service. When you are away from home, you want to be treated well and right. This kind of staff will never make it to a real 5 star hotel.

Surprisingly, I have better service at the Sofitel Brussels , which is a 3 Star hotel. This Westin is at most a 3 star hotel( no spa, terrible dining experience, very slow service throughout the hotel) but want to charge you a 5...
