My husband Kevin and I celebrated our wedding reception at Medley, Dublin this May and we truly couldn’t have imagined a better place to host the best day of our lives. As two proud Dubs, we always knew we wanted a city-centre wedding. We chose Smock Alley for our ceremony, and after a short (and very scenic!) 10-minute stroll, with a few stops at some of Dublin’s iconic pubs of course, our guests arrived at Medley for the reception. From our first visit right through to the final dance, the team at Medley, especially our coordinator Chris, went above and beyond. This type-A bride sent hundreds of emails and had a million little questions, and not once did I feel like anything was too much. They made everything feel effortless, personal, and seamless. We were after a vibe that was laid-back but beautiful, and a space where all generations, could feel relaxed and spoiled. Medley delivered all that and more. The food was a standout — not your standard wedding fare, but something genuinely special and delicious. No soup or meat-and-two-veg here (unless you want it, in which case they’d still nail it). We would recommend Medley a thousand times over. Every time we walk through Dublin city centre now, we get to pass by the place where we had one of the happiest days of our lives, and that still gives us a little buzz. I have no doubt we’ll be back again soon as guests, raising a glass to someone else’s big day.

We were initially supposed to get married in 2020 but due to Covid and living overseas it didn’t happen until July 2024. All of the team at Medley were so supportive and reassuring during that time. We had our reception at Medley after our wedding ceremony at St Agnes’s Church. The venue itself is in a perfect location for a relaxed city wedding, great for getting photos and so convenient for guests. Andrew, Chris and Brian were great throughout the planning of the wedding and on the day itself. The communication was quick and easy, and nothing were too much trouble for them. The food and drink were great, and the staff were lovely and helpful at all times. We had quite a large wedding with approx. 135 guests. The sit-down meal may have felt slightly over capacity, but we were told that might be the case. We were supposed to have our speeches downstairs, but my partner decided to do it at the meal. However, some of our guests sat at the back couldn’t hear the PA system. Otherwise, everything else went really well and everyone had a wonderful day. The team at Medley made the day so pleasant and relaxed, they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding day so special and we would highly recommend Medley for a wedding or special event. Thanks again to Andrew, Chris & Brian for such perfect day.

Located in Dublin's Trinity Quarter, Medley is a little delight nestled away just off the main beat , but still easily within local transport links . We went for my friends wedding. The venue itself is very spacious and to my surprise had a rig for ariel hoop performance. The floral arrangements by Adonis flowers were absolutely incredible and really fit the space well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Andrew who took a cake from me to put in the chill without batting an eye. For starter I had goats cheese, fig and beetroot over salad, it was entirely as one might expect, simple crisp and fresh . For the main we had the steak which was delicious and tender, however worth a note is the mushroom on that dish which was absolutely the best serving of mushroom I've ever had (to the point I'd nearly ask them for a take out), the mains were served with what can only be described as a vat of potatoes and vegetables all of which were very well prepared. The bathrooms were clean and spacious, which is a pleasant surprise for city centre venues.

We recently held our Indian\Irish wedding reception at Medley Fleet Street and are still buzzing 2 weeks later from how well it went. Andrew and the team have cultivated a beautiful 2 floor property to perfectly suit events and weddings of varying means and sizes, located right in the heart of Dublin City Center no less. We found the entire team extremely attentive, professional and easy to deal with during the often stressful planning phase of a wedding. A particular thank you to Chris who we worked with for months to coordinate our night to perfection. Our every need was met and I cant think of a time we were told "No" by a member of their staff when dreaming up how we wanted the night to go.

The food was sensational and given we had family flying from India we were delighted to find Medley provide a wide selection of vegetarian and non-veg starters and mains all equally as delicious as each other. We were able to put together the perfect menu for our guests and everyone raved about their food. As mentioned the property itself is beautiful but Medley allowed us to, and helped us with, hanging some extra decorations to give the place a little Indian touch which we thought was really lovely.

On the night a fleet of staff were there to make sure nobody wanted for anything and the 2 floor layout came into great effect allowing us to have an opening drinks reception downstairs, move up for dinner, and then back down for a beautiful dessert grazing table and some more drinks while the tables were cleared away and the band setup. While we were having dinner our photobooth operator came onsite and setup downstairs to be ready for after Dinner and speeches. the night was choreographed beautifully and our guests were never left sitting around waiting and watching as vendors setup\tables were taken down which can be the case in some venues. The entire team never put a foot wrong at any stage and we literally couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. A huge huge thank you to Andrew, Chris, Thiago and Brian as well as the wider Medley staff for all the work they put in to help make our night so special. We could not recommend this...

We chose Medley as our wedding venue and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Medley has been a pleasure to work with. The venue is outstanding. It has a ground floor and an upper mezzanine which works well for a wedding, and with our 75 guests, it worked perfectly as the place didn't feel empty at all. Usually the ceremonies are done upstairs but we chose to do a casual downstairs standing ceremony, which worked fantastically. There was such a cool vibe and everyone loved it.

Chris, our event coordinator guided us through the process. We couldn't have been in better hands. Chris is so lovely and helpful with all our queries. We had a tour of the venue with him and we fell in love with the place.

For us, food was such an important aspect in our wedding and Medley delivered! We had canapes served after our ceremony and then a sit-down meal (starters and mains) with a desert bar later downstairs. The food was divine. We've had so many guests compliment the food. It was something they've never seen at a wedding before. The 10oz Ribeye and Hake went down well! Cooked to perfection. The evening food was delicious pizza and spice boxes. These were handed out to guests by the waiting staff. The staff even kept note of the vegetarians and one of our guests, who didn't eat cheese, was delivered their own custom pizzas. This service was above and beyond and something we did not expect on the night.

Bryan took care of the event coordination on the night. He is such a professional and looked after every aspect, such as the event timings, MC, food delivery, etc. We were so impressed with him, he's such a nice guy. The staff on the floor and in the bar were lovely and amazing. They kept smiling all night and we've heard nothing but compliments about them from our guests.

Our wedding at Medley exceeded all of our expectations and it made our dream come true. The lighting of the venue matched our retro / synth wave theme and the photos are beautiful and unique, much different from the traditional hotel wedding. Don't hesitate to talk to Chris to get the tour, you...

Where could I even start with my review of Medley. As a wedding vendor myself (Adonis Flower Designers), what I needed was a stress free experience so I could relax, knowing everything was in the hands of professionals who know what they are doing. 6 years ago my wife and I attended a wedding in Medley, and joked that our wedding would be there some day (6 months into our relationship)..and no where else compared when we looked at venues following our engagement 3 years later. From first meeting with Andrew, meetings and emails with Chris and on the day, everyone (mentions for Brian and Thiago) on the Team were helpful, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. We had a personal emergency that left us needing to postpone our wedding for 3 months and the level of kindness and understanding shown to us will never be forgotten. Every single one of our guests commented on the quality of the food, the wine, the atmosphere and the service. I would recommend this venue over and over again and I only hope we get to organise another celebration so that we can party the night away again in great company of the Medley Team.

I've worked myself with many couples having their wedding ceremony and reception at Medley and it's always a pleasure to give my personal experience and get to visit the venue again to dress it for events and weddings.

Edited to add: original review wasn't passed by google for a year, photos weren't permitted. It's been 18 months since our wedding here and guests are still talking about what a...
