Really disappointed. It was busy, but even allowing for that, service was laughably poor. Half a dozen large parties who came into the restaurant after we ordered got their food before we did. After waiting an hour for our food (or more, honestly, I'm rounding down) we flagged down a waitress (not easy to do) and she immediately just started telling us how busy it was and how many people were also waiting before we could even say anything. She was dismissive and rude. However, we got our food almost immediately after this, so I'm pretty sure we had been forgotten. All the food was tough, greasy, and had clearly been re-heated/re-fried. The original waitress who took our order never came back (saw her elsewhere in the restraunt, so she was clearly still on shift) we never got the water refills we asked for, and when the food finally came the waitress just said patronizingly "That wasn't so bad, was it?" After that we never got checked on again, we had to go hunt the waitress down and ask for the check after waiting for it a half-hour after we finished eating. Said she'd bring it but didn't, and was blatantly avoiding us. 15 minutes later we went and asked for it again at the bar and finally got it. Never once got an apology or an explainating, or even an acknowledgement that something was wrong. They just avoided us, blew us off, and lied about the business. All in all took 90 minutes to get our food and 45 to get our check after that. I should add that I am not one to complain, EVER. We were never anything but positive and polite. I've been a server, and I cut people a TON of slack, because I know what it's like working a busy floor. ANY acknowledgement would have been enough to make me totally forgive everything. But they lied, and we're rude, and then ignored us, and honestly, I've never had worse service anywhere There are so many other restaurants in Dublin with better food and significantly better staff. Please consider taking your business to...

If possible I could rate this place negative Zero👎 Went here for a quick bite(breakfast) I should say. I found nearly a vacant place, few patrons and 3 attendants. No menu on the table or by the entrance for me to pick up and have a look while they are busy doing whatever business of the day they have.

I found myself having to walk to them and ask for the so called menu which was too short for a breakfast menu. No list for coffees, teas. What Irish breakfast is that? The lady attendant who was bit young was so impolite as she adviced that the menu was on their window for me to look at,😳 so she expect me to walk around staring at windows?🙄 is this the kinda service patrons receive on daily basis?

You ask, the customer service was way way below stand(substandard service). I had to cancel my order and settled for their lousy tea. I have been to lots and lots of restaurants, pubs and tea rooms around ireland and Europe but never received such poor customer service.

I was totally embarrassed, humiliated and I encourage everyone who value their time, money and decency not to commit the same mistake as I. Honestly, this is the most horrible place you would want to go for a quick bite, I wouldn’t even recommend to my worst enemies.

They young lady attendant is rude, lack customer service skill and she should be enrolled for a day course so she can up her skills. If she or the owner believe I’m defaming their business, my name is up there for them to institute a libel suit and we will have our day in an impartial...

Honestly one of the worst restaurants I’ve been to. Was there on a trip with my class and well... none was really satisfied. I myself had noodles with cheese sauce, Brocoli and fresh mushrooms. The sauce was plain and did not have any taste or spices. The broccoli was alright even tho it was slightly overcooked. The MUSHROOM pasta did not even include mushrooms and overall it was a really flavorless and plain dish everyone with some cooking knowledge could have made better. I pretty much emptied both, the whole salt and pepper caster and the dish still tasted horrible. Had hopes for the desert in the end because it could not really get worse right... well nope. The desert was once again was super plain. The meringue barely had any flavor besides sugar and was really hard (could barely even break it apart with my spoon). The berries on the top were alright but obviously not fresh and out of a can. Besides the food being really bad in my opinion and totally not worth ~30€, the server was nice and checked in on us often and refilled out water regularly. The restaurant seemed nice from the outside and the inside looked decent as well so I am quite disappointed about our visit, especially when going to a restaurant which has a sign stating “excellent -tripadvisor” at...

It was the first restaurant we ate in when in Dublin. I had the Bangers and Mash, the soup, and the Brownie dessert. It was a special menu for tour groups. Since the meal was included in our tour I have no idea how much it cost. The entree was luscious, delicious and hearty. The soup was smooth and perfectly delectable. The brownie was a tad dry. We listened to the traditional live music which set the stage for the entire evening. Fabulous start to our Dublin visit!

Came twice on the way in and out of Dubby on account of: great service, friendly clientele, large tables for our large family group, live music (especially the fiddle player on Sunday night 🔥🔥🔥 pass on his name if you can) and good food! Def recommend the fish n chips, lamb stew, and burger. Did we originally try across the street and get turned away by a packed house? Yeah, but so glad to end up here in the end. Ireland core memories unlocked 💯💚🍻
