I had a lovely time here with my husband it used to be a yummy burger place, but Pera has taken over it. There's another Mexican restaurant above, too, so initially, for the one place, you are getting two options. You can place the order upstairs, too. I don't know if the Mexican has halal options, but they would have some vegetarian options. We ordered the mixed grill and the mince pide as it was only the 2 of us. Mixed grill was yummy. The wings particularly had a lovely light charcoal and taste to them. In comparison to other places, the naan was the bread, which was yummy too, but I think they should work a little more on presenting this dish to get it to 10/10. The chicken cubes were basic and could have done with a little more flavour. The other meat was delicious they didnt add donner to it. I wish they did so we could have tried it out. It was quite filling but not overwhelming. I would order something small with it too, like lahmacun or chips. They didn't give chips with this, which was fine by us because we wanted salad so if you want chips let them know. They heat their plates, which was great to keep the food warmer, so that's a plus. Now, the mince pide, this is what I call a Turkish restaurant. Any place that claims to be turkish and doesn't give nod to the yummy options of pide and lahmacun, what are you doing? If you haven't tried these, I suggest you do. They did an amazing job. The mince pide was big enough, like a skinny narrow pizza and absolutely divine and better than most places I went to in Turkey. It was warm, melt in your mouth with flavour. I would definitely recommend that people order one of these or the lahmacun with something else, too. I will definitely come again just for the pide and lahmacun options 😍 On the side for drivers parking we got lucky and got opposite the cinema 6 euros for 2 hours that takes card payment and try not to go at busy rush...

I had a very disappointing experience at this Turkish restaurant in Dublin, and I absolutely do not recommend it. We ordered lentil soup, beyti, and lahmacun. The beyti was especially terrible — the meat inside looked pink and was completely tasteless. The rice served alongside the beyti was the worst I've ever had — bland, tasteless, and without any seasoning.

On top of that, the male staff were extremely rude. They treated both the cashier (a female staff member) and delivery drivers in a very disrespectful manner with harsh language, which was uncomfortable to witness. I believe there are hygiene issues as well — the women's toilet was dirty, and the liquid soap was empty.

The sliding door of the restaurant was constantly open, making the place freezing cold.

The only positive aspect was the woman working at the cashier — she was very polite, understanding, and apologetic, especially during the busy iftar time. I genuinely appreciate her kindness and exempt her from this review.

However, considering the poor food, terrible service from the male staff, and the overall atmosphere, I would advise anyone not to waste...

As a Turkish person, I’ve always ordered from Pera and loved their food and the kindness of their staff. Unfortunately, this time was a complete disaster. On New Year’s Eve, I ordered an İskender, 2 lahmacuns, ayran, and chips to share a special meal with my girlfriend. However, everything was old and tasteless.

The lahmacun was soft and flavorless, the chips went straight to the bin, and the İskender… what a disappointment. The meat was clearly at least 4–5 hours old, and the portion was ridiculously small. Normally, I get full with just İskender, but this time, I didn’t even feel like I’d eaten anything. On top of that, they only included half a spoon of yogurt.

This used to be a restaurant I trusted, but tonight they completely let me down, especially on such a special occasion. I won’t be ordering from them again. Everything was disgusting. What a way...

Edited Review: We had visited Pera almost 6 months ago and it was average. Yesterday we gave another chance and it was spot on! Again we tried Iskender, and in addtion we ate Doner bowl and Lahmacun. Everything was amazing. Thanks for listening to feedback positively and improving dishes. My only recommendation would be that you should bring sauces on the side instead adding them onto Doner Bowl. These sauces are defintely not an authentic way to eat doner in a Turkish restaurant. I've increased my rate from 3 to 5. Previous Review: We tried Iskender kebab. The spice of the doner meat was different than usual (maybe too much black pepper or cumin, I don’t know) but it didn't smell and taste authentic. Other than that the tomato sauce and pitas under the meat were not too bad.
