It is an ok option, but it leaves a lot to be desired. The place looks nice, the pizzas look good as well. But then it just goes downhill. The table we were sat at was very cramped, we are both skinny, but still didnt fit well at all. It was pretty uncomfortable. We ordered the blt pizza and while the dough and the bake was pretty nice, the sundried tomatoes were just big pieces of fresh tomatoes essentially, the prosciutto was tasting almost like the bacon you would have for breakfast but was super salty, almost unedible when the piece was too big. A lot could be improved. I like prosciutto but baking it with the pizza ruins it, it is way better to just put it after it has been baked. Well, at least we had a great cider with the pizza. What came as last disappointment was the service. While i was still chewing the waiter brought a bill. Glasses still half full, didn't even ask if we want desert or anything. Just brought the bill when i didn't even finish eating and then gave me choice of putting a tip 10, 15 or 20%.... come on guys.

We had dinner after a nice trip to the light show at the zoo. My hubby had the pulled pork and pineapple pizza and I had the smoked prosciutto and onion. The pizza base fantastic, authentic wood wired ;the basil avioli dip a hit. The Smoked prosciutto was delicious, so much so my hubby asked to swap. The pulled pork and pineapple was lacking on the pork and pineapple front and the nutty taste a bit overwhelming. It was quite a large portion next time I think one to share would have been enough especially after snacking at the Zoo and trying other little spots in the city. The service was great it was nice and quiet not too busy. We had a table water and were well looked after. There are soo many places to eat in temple bar so not sure we would go back as we like to try a new spot each time, but overall it was a good dinner.

Pi is a pizza restaurant which is based on a 'quest for perfection’ and I really feel that comes across. We went to the Temple Bar location which had a really cool interior with friendly staff which was a great start! The pizza selection is refined but the output was extremely good. We had the two vegan pizzas which were the 'Mediterranean' and the 'Marinara'. The Mediterranean was delicious and tasted super fresh. The pesto on top was fantastic and really added some flavour. The Marinara showed what is so good about Pi. The Marinara sauce is sweet and savoury - paired with their dough really it is simple but delicious. With a Marinara pizza you have nowhere to hide and Pi does not disappoint. Overall I would advise people to come and try it out as I thought the experience was great. Would definitely come back again 😊
