The Old Storehouse is a lively Irish pub that offers an authentic experience in the heart of Dublin. From the moment you step inside, the warm and cozy atmosphere makes you feel welcome, whether you're a tourist or a local. The highlight of the pub is undoubtedly the live music. Talented musicians play traditional Irish tunes, creating the perfect backdrop for a fun evening. The music is lively, engaging, and sets the tone for a great night out. As for the food, it's solid pub fare. The menu offers a decent selection of classic dishes, and while it may not blow you away, it certainly hits the spot. The portions are generous, and the service is friendly and efficient. I tried the fish and chips, which were well-cooked, and my friends enjoyed their hearty Irish stew. It's clear that this pub focuses more on the overall experience than gourmet dining, but that’s exactly what you’d expect from a traditional Irish pub. Overall, The Old Storehouse is a great spot for those looking to enjoy live music in a vibrant setting, paired with a decent meal and a pint of Guinness. Definitely worth a visit!

Appearance (4/5): The interior design of this restaurant is very classy and celticy. The lady who took our order (she looked very Irish) was very friendly, but then our waiter changed and we were served by a male waiter. He was also very friendly. Service (1/5): The service, however, was extremely slow. Although the restaurant wasn't even packed, it took them literally almost 40 minutes to bring our main dishes. We were almost late to our other event and had to ask for a to-go box. That was the worst part of our experience. Food (1/5): The wings were pretty good, but our main dishes were not so great. The scampi and fries made us feel sick after having them. The Irish cottage pie wasn't anything special. So the food was okay and much lower quality compared to what we were expecting. Bonus: They had a live singer in the restaurant. That was definitely a great part of the experience. Overall (2/5): We would still recommend this place given the great indoor design and the music. Food isn't so good and the staff is extremely slow. So don't expect here a top dish. We were disappointed with the dish since it made us feel sick afterwards.

I don't think this pub needs more reviews, but I'll do it anyway. Warm and accomodating atmosphere, the staff is skilled and fast, despite this place can get packed with people. We've been here two consecutive nights, because the food is great and there's live music that engages everyone, giving a festive and joyful air in the whole pub. You can stay in the ground floor if you want to fully dive yourself in the Irish pub experience, singing live traditional or famous cover songs along with all the other costumers, or get to the upper floor if you need a bit more peace and if you want to chat. Finally, the food. We tried the casserole, the cottage pie and the Irish pork and apple pie, but what we loved most was the fish and chips, probably the best one we've ever eaten. The soup of the day was heartwarming, but I'm sure you can't go wrong ordering anything from the menu. I'd really love a place like this in my hometown.

I don't write reviews for many places, but this was easily the best place we ate and experienced in Ireland. We stopped in on our last night, and it was an absolute dream. We experienced: live music, Irish step dancing, and one of the best meals we had in the whole country. My husband got the bangers and mash and I had the fish and chips. BEST fish and chips! Everything was seasoned perfectly, the chips and breading were perfectly crispy and golden brown, and the mashed peas were vibrant and had a contrast in texture that was very pleasing. We sat by the kitchen; looking in, it was absolutely spotless. The chef only turns the heat lamp on occasionally, meaning: your food is the freshest and hottest it can possibly be. The service was wonderful, despite how incredibly busy the restaurant was. Our server Jean was very nice, charming, and attentive. If you're in Dublin for only a day, you MUST go to this place!

An Irish pub in Dublin has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, with dark wood furnishings, low lighting, and warm hues of green and gold. The walls are adorned with old photographs, vintage beer signs, and Gaelic motifs, giving it a rich cultural feel. The bar is well-stocked with a variety of drinks, including pints of Guinness, Irish whiskeys, and craft ales. The menu features traditional Irish fare. Fish and chips are a standout, with crispy golden batter enveloping tender white fish, served with thick-cut fries and a side of tartar sauce. Baked potatoes are soft and fluffy. Carrots, sweet and well seasoned with a hint of herbs. The pub's atmosphere is lively, with the hum of conversation and the occasional burst of laughter, all set to the backdrop of traditional Irish music.
