Lovely. I went to Ireland for the first time after my mom passed away. I wanted to learn more about my mom who always celebrated our Irish heritage in lots of things—the church, St Paddy’s Day, and The Virgin Mary. She’d warm me about her ‘ Irish Temper.’ ☘️ This is a cute spot I went to the Speed Dating Event which they have there. Look in advance and book it hotels in area.

An Irish farmer wanted me to live with him straight away 🤣🤣🤣. It was lovely fun. They slowed down the accent for me as I’m from California. Truly a unique way to have fun and travel. Here’s to travel and cultural events. I hope the farmer found love. I was tempted. Big hugs from Laurie across the water. Sending Peace and love NOW and always.

Laurie from CALI Very reasonable fun and so fun. Dublin is walkable at night!! ...

Visited for Sunday lunch on a weekend trip to Dublin. Sunday is Carvery day, although there are a few other dishes like chicken curry available upon request. The bar itself is simple in decor, with plenty of seating and a covered outdoor area for smoking. The bar is well stocked with a great variety of drinks available, but the real gem is the carvery. It's clearly popular with the locals as a steady queue was building from 12.30pm (Carvery opens at 1pm), but the amazing efficiency of the chef and the serving staff meant the queue went down as quickly as it formed. There was a choice of three meats and all the trimmings, including bread stuffing and two types of potatoes (roasted and mash). Everything was fresh, piping hot and delicious. Well worth €16 and would...

Should have known what was coming when the menu was printed on a tattered plain A4 sheet of paper with no sleeve. I tried to order food at the bar and the not busy barman told me I had to do that with the lounge server and went back to his phone. Very disappointing chicken burger from bun through chicken fillet and trimmings. The slice of cheese inside was the size of a sweet wrapper, less than half of the bun. My friend ordered the goujons and got just three of them with a basket of chips for an obscene €15. The pints were poorly poured too, very inconsistent with too large heads. Perhaps got them on a bad evening but...

If you are looking for a place to enjoy a delicious carvery meal, a wide range of draft beers, and a lively sports atmosphere, then the 51 bar in Dublin is the place for you. This pub is one of the largest in the city, with plenty of seating options and multiple TVs showing different matches. You can choose from a variety of meats and sides at the carvery station, or order from the menu that offers burgers, salads, and more. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the pub has a cozy and welcoming vibe. Whether you are a local or a visitor, you will have a great time at the 51 bar in Dublin.

We had a pottery workshop upstairs in the pub. The class was amazingly run by @potteryandpintsdublin, and the pub service was great too. We were served delicious finger foods and gorgeous pints! The location of this pub is great too, as I walked along the canal afterwards, it was beautiful!
